Der flauptfuß (A) dient hier als Glei tsohiene für-das aus-elnII1
Stück gefertigte Sitz-Lehneteil. Infolge zweier, an diesem Sitz-Lehneteil verlegter
Stützpunkte (Holzkeile oder Metallstifte) wobei der eine (b1) unter dem Sitz vor
dem Hauptfußy der andere (b2) hinter dem Hauptfuß am Verbindungsteil von Sitz und
Lehne angebracht ist, wird infolge der Schräge des Hauptfußes jeweils die Verklemmung
und Befestigung damit in der gewünschten Höhenlage bewirkt. Zur Sicherung der dadurch
vorgenommenen Höheneinstellung des Sitz-Lehneteiles dient eine an der Rückseite
des Hauptfußes angebrachte Vorrichtung für die Rastung (a1), sei es in Gestalt von
Lochungen für die Ausführung in Holz oder von Zahnungen für die Ausführung in Metall.
Ein in das Sitz-Lehneteil (B) am Stützpunkt (b2) angebrachter Rasterzapfen (a2)
aus Metall oder ein in dieses eingefügter Federstift bewirkt die Verbindung mit
der im Hauptfuß angebrachten Zahnung oder Lochung. Damit kann sich die Hö@heneinstellung
des Sitz-Lehneteils (B) nicht mehr von selbst verändern. Die Vorrichtung für die
Raatung (a1) kann in der Holzausführung entweder in einer, in den rückwärtigen Teil
des Hauptfußes eingelassenen, gelochten oder gezahnten Metallschiene bestehen oder

Durch die Verwendung des besonders geformten und gebogenen
Haupt-
fußes als Gleitschiene des beweglichen und verstellbaren Sitz-lehne
teiles und Träger der Verklemmung und Rastungssicherung läßt
eich
diese Funktion mit der des Stützfußes verbinden. Dadurch hat
sie
gegenüber anderen höhenverstellbaren Sitzmöbeln den Vorteil der besonderen Vereinfachung,
die eine Herstellung solcher Stühle mit im Vergleich zu anderen verhältnismäßig
sehr geringem Eigengewicht ermöglicht. Dadurch wird der Stuhl leicht transportabel.
Auch ist die Höheneinstellung infolge der Rastung leicht zu bewerkstelligen. Aus
diesen Gründen eignet er sich besonders für diejenigen Arbeiten, die eine sitzende
Tätigkeit in jeweils wechselnder Hohe und an verschiedenen Orten erfordern. Dies
gilt vor allem für technische Zeichner, Dreher, Künstler, insbesondere Maler und
Bildhauer, Kunststudenten und für die Verwendung in Mahl- u. Zeichenklassen, vor
allem aber auch für die Verwendung bei Haushaltsarbeiten. Trotz des geringen Eigengewichts
wird aber dadurch, daß sich der Mittelpunkt des sitzes stets über dem Mittelpunkt
der Stützfläche befindet, die größtmögliche Erhaltung des Gleichgewichts garantiert.
