Durch das Patent 132094 wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Glühkörpern mit glatten, runden Köpfen geschützt, das im wesentlichen darin besteht, daß das Schlauchgewebe zunächst zu der zweckmäßig gewünschten endgültigen Weite der Abzugsöffnung .eingekräuselt und alsdann erst mit einer Einfassung versehen wird. Weitere Versuche haben ergeben, daß es nicht erforderlich ist, die beiden Handhabungen, nämlich I. das Einkräuseln und Festlegen der Abzugsöffnung und 2. das Umlegen und Festnähen des Tüllbandes, nacheinander vorzunehmen, sondern daß man gleichfalls einen Strumpf mit einem glatten, runden, d. h. faltenlosen Kopf erhält, wenn beide Handhabungen gleichzeitig vorgenommen werden.
