Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stimmwirbel für Saiteninstrumente und bezweckt, das Einziehen
der Saiten und Saitenenden bezw. ihr Aufwinden auf den Wirbel zu erleichtern.
Zu diesem Zwecke ist am Wirbelschaft vom Locheingang aus nach dem Ausgang hin und darüber hinaus eine Nut angebracht,
