Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
For the operation of medical vibration and oscillation apparatus based on the effect Unevenly distributed centrifugal masses are usually based on electric motors with special flywheels used, which an uneven distribution of the flywheels have and plates or other means for transmitting the vibration connected to their axis during their rotation to set the body in an oscillating motion. In the invention it is a matter of the fact that the movement of Inertia is done by steam. The operation of the device becomes independent the existence of an electrical system, since the equipment is always with the help a simple small sheet metal kettle can easily be manufactured. The usage of steam has the further advantage that when the apparatus is used on the bared one A feeling of coldness is avoided because the apparatus is preheated by the steam will; Finally, the escaping steam can be used for healing purposes at the same time to be used. One embodiment of the apparatus is particularly advantageous in which the steam acts on a small turbine, with which the flywheel with an unevenly distributed centrifugal mass, as shown in the accompanying drawing in the Fig. Ι and 2 shown, can be directly connected. When running the apparatus according to the manner illustrated in the drawing, in which the turbine itself as Flywheel is used and the steam by means of a hole made in the handle flows out of a nozzle designed according to the direction of rotation of the turbine the whole apparatus extremely simplified and cheaper because it is neither special Flywheel or transmissions or the like are required.
