Arbeitswerkzeug, Fensterscheiben, Fensterahmen o.dgl. entfernen.
Materialien infolge i
anders
18 an.
11 Joint sealing body 11 The invention relates to joint sealing body and is directed in particular to differently shaped, special joint sealing elements made of plastic or rubber for window glazing. As is well known, the window glass has long been fixed in the sash frame with the help of plastic glass putty. The putty, which also acts as a sealing compound, is either filled or injected into the joints between the frame and the glass. However, the seal is not permanent; Because over time, under the influence of the weather, initially fine and later larger cracks form in the material itself and also at the connection points between sealing compound and glass or wood, due to moisture and even water penetration, which results in rot and sponge formation Has. The cracks in the putty and the subsequent destruction of the wood by rotting from the inside also cause the window glass to loosen. It is therefore necessary to re-seal the window joints from time to time. Recently, the joints have been sealed with sealing compounds, which are reaction products of alkylene halides and sodium polysulphides and are known in the trade under the trademark Thiokol. Sealing putties based on silicone are also used. However, processing is difficult. These sifting masses adhere extremely strongly to everything with which they come into contact and are therefore difficult to remove from work clothes, work tools, window panes, window frames or the like. remove. Another difficulty in processing is due to the fact that an adhesive layer that is flawless with regard to the sealing of joints, i.e. cohesive and firmly adhering everywhere, can only be achieved if the base surfaces, i.e. both the glass surface and the opposite inner surface of the sash frame, are clean and show no dirt, no moisture and, above all, no grease. In practice, however, this is not always the case. Weather conditions and especially solar radiation cause the wood of the sash frame to work. The coefficients of expansion of the sealing compound on the one hand and of glass or wood on the other hand are also different. The consequence of this is often that the sealant partially separates from the wood. Again there are fine gaps and cracks through which moisture can penetrate and cause the wood to rot. In addition to the window joints, there are several other joints, for example in building construction, civil engineering or road construction, which are subject to different and changing tensile and compressive stresses and are therefore subject to constant movements. The gap between the joints increases or decreases. The joints are filled with well-adhesive, highly elastic materials, so-called seals, which are intended to absorb the movements. It has been shown, however, that the sealant's adhesion to the joint walls is often inadequate and that this results in the sealant becoming detached. The invention is therefore based on the object of avoiding these disadvantages and to provide a jointing body, i of the different coefficients of expansion are absorbed due to weather conditions and other factors induced voltages by which the different materials as a result and occurrence of crevices and cracks in the sealant and is prevented at the interfaces. To solve the problem, the invention proposes a joint sealing body which is made of plastic or rubber and has the shape of a self-contained or unilaterally open hollow profile. A joint overlap is attached to the hollow profile. The hollow profile can be provided with spacers, which are designed continuously or are arranged at a distance from one another. One broad side of the hollow profile can also be pressed in with knobs or with: entaprecting E-lugs atzsI; equipped (1 - each in riehwalberischwaliühnlichezt or differently designed recesses of the sash or the joint wall. The invention is described in detail with reference to several figures, Figure 1 is a cross-section through the lower part of a casement window provided with an insulating glass pane with the sealing body according to the invention, Figure 2 is a similar cross-section through a window whose outer joint has a sealing body with knobs according to the invention and Figures 3a to 3g show different embodiments of the joint sealing elements according to the invention On the window sash frame 10 there is a support block 11 made of wood, on which rests an insulating glass pane 12. Between this and the sash timber 13 shown in the drawing, also called the water leg, is the outer one e window joint 14. The inner window joint 15, which is between the pane 12 and the inner glazing bead 16 contains a hakiiii'iiiki pin sealant 17.
The sealing body 18 according to the invention is used when installing glass panes, parapet panels or the like. attached as follows. First, an adhesive or adhesive and elastic sealing compound 17 is applied to the clean wooden inner wall (the fold) of the outer window joint 14 and the sealing body 18 is then pressed on. The sealing compound 17 is then applied to the other side of the sealing body 18 by spatula or spray and the window pane 12 is pressed on. Finally, the rear side of the window pane 12 is provided with sealing putty 17 in a conventional manner and the glazing bead 16 is placed in front of it. Of course, the inner window joint can also be equipped with the sealing body 18 according to the invention. The sealing body 18 according to the invention preferably has a joint overlap 19 for the window glazing. It can also be provided with spacers 20. The embodiment that has knobs 21 on its broad side which enclose in recesses in the frame 1o, for example in recesses in the sash timber 13 according to the drawing, also brings advantages. For sealing expansion joints on buildings, street ceilings or the like. it is advantageous to choose the embodiment that is shown in Figure 3g. During processing, the hollow profile is simply pressed into the joints that are already filled with sealing material. A stringing together of the hollow profiles according to the invention is easily possible. The object according to the proposals of the invention has a number of advantages over the prior art. The tensions that always occur as a result of different expansion coefficients in the case of joint expansion in window joints and, above all, in expansion joints are resolved by using the y @, #, hlprofiles, since only the cavity within the profile is enlarged is not possible anymore. The additional overlapping of the joints ensures a very clean finish to the outside. In addition, when the joint is stretched, the overlap is inevitably drawn more strongly against the joint, which is useful for a good seal. The subject matter of the invention is of course applicable not only to wooden windows, but also to metal and plastic windows.
