In einer Tischplatte α befindet sich, zum Teil eingelassen, die Form b, in welche die Zementmasse bei der Arbeitsstellung der Maschine nach Fig. 1 hineingestampft wird. In dieser Stellung hat ein Bügel c mit dem Drehpunkt bei d und einem Gegengewicht e eine Platte f nach oben gedrückt. Diese Platte ist mit vier Führungsstiften g und mit zwei Winkeleisen h versehen. Zwischen diese Winkeleisen wird eine Holzplatte i als Unterlage für die Steine geschoben. Ein zweiter Bügel k mit den Drehpunkten bei I und den Druckplatten m, an einem Querstab η hängend, ist zurückgeklappt und stützt sich mit der mittleren Druckplatte auf den Bügel c, wodurch derselbe noch weiter beschwert wird. Ist nun die Form vollgestampft und oben glattgestrichen, so klappt man den Bügel k nach vorn (Fig. 3), wobei die Platten m in der herabhängenden Stellung verbleiben, · da der Stab η lose in dem Bügel k gelagert ist.4 shows a cross section according to AB.

Sollten hierbei die geformten Steine nicht durch ihr Eigengewicht der Unterlage i folgen, so werden sie durch die Platten m hierzu gezwungen, da diese sich ja in der Form abwärts bewegen (Fig. 3). Vier Stangen q führen die Querstange ρ bei ihrer Bewegung.
