To produce such a ferrite body, lithium carbonate and iron oxide are burned to form a lithium ferrite. In addition, copper oxide is burned with iron oxide to form a copper ferrite, and finally both ferrites are ground, mixed and sintered into the specified lithium copper ferrite. In addition, Mn-Mg rectangular ferrites are known which have 0 to 8 percent by weight of heavy metal oxides or, at 27.5 to 66 mol percent of MnO, a proportion of 4 to 25 mol percent of MO. These include at least 2 mol percent MgO and at least 2 mol percent oxides of Zn, Cu, Ca and / or Cd. The use of 2 to about 9.6 mole percent MgO-4. A method for producing a ferromagnetic ferrite according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that manganese-magnesium-zinc-ferrite powder is mixed with Li 2 O and CaO and pressed and sintered according to ceramic criteria.
The invention relates to a ferromagnetic manganese-magnesium-zinc ferrite body rectangular hysteresis loop and a method for its production.
Such ferromagnetic ferrite bodies with a rectangular hysteresis loop are very good for magnetic storage and switching purposes.
Obwohl diese induzierten Rechteckferritkörper ein größeres Betriebstemperaturgebiet als die spontanen Rechteckferritkörper der obenOn the one hand, such so-called rectangular ferrites are known in which the rectangular hysteresis loop forms spontaneously during manufacture, which is carried out according to ceramic criteria. These rectangular ferrites include, for example, manganese-magnesium ferrites, which may have an addition of zinc oxide. For example, it is known to mix 14 percent by weight of MgO with 30 percent by weight of MnO 2 and 56 percent by weight of red iron oxide, to burn it in a nitrogen atmosphere at 125O 0 C, so that a sintered body is produced which has a ratio of remanence induction to saturation induction of B r / B s = 0.83 and a coercive force of H c = 2.1 Oe are dependent, so that these bodies are only in a temperature range of about 20 to 40 0 C, most-acres 10 and 40 0 C, no additional temperature or current controls used . In this range, the extreme values of the properties in question deviate from one another by around 10%. The disadvantage of the spontaneous lithium-containing nickel or copper ferrites is that, as a result of a relatively high magnetostriction, they give rise to magnetostrictive oscillations when coping with storage or switching tasks and thus lead to increased interference voltages. The useful interference voltage ratio is therefore relatively low, so that storage and switching elements using these ferrite bodies have to be additionally attenuated. In addition to the so-called spontaneous rectangular ferrite bodies, so-called induced rectangular ferrite bodies are also known, in which the rectangular character of the hysteresis loop is only created by a temperature treatment in a magnetic field. The induced rectangular ferrite bodies are produced in particular from so-called perminvar ferrites. These are usually over-stoichiometric ferrites containing nickel oxide and cobalt oxide, which are slowly cooled after sintering. To form the rectangular character of the hysteresis loop, these cores are tempered in a magnetic field at a few 10O 0 C or cooled in a magnetic field directly after sintering. Although these induced rectangular ferrite bodies have a larger operating temperature range than the spontaneous rectangular ferrite bodies of the above
Have specified type, they are characterized by a relatively large Schaltkonstantc, so that such Ferrite bodies are not useful in arithmetic tasks with high computing speeds.
The invention is based on the object of eliminating these disadvantages.
Nach der Erfindung sollen ferromagnetische Mangan-Magnesium-Zink-Ferritkörper mit weniger als 50 Molprozent Fe2O3, d. h. unterstöchiometrische Mangan-Magnesium-Ferritkörper, folgende Zusammensetzung aufweisen:According to the invention, ferromagnetic manganese-magnesium-zinc ferrite bodies with less than 50 mol percent Fe 2 O 3 , ie substoichiometric manganese-magnesium ferrite bodies, should have the following composition:
<52 Molprozent Fe7O3,<52 mole percent Fe 7 O 3 ,
20 bis 25 Molprozent MnO,20 to 25 mole percent MnO,
22 bis 32 Molprozent MgO,22 to 32 mole percent MgO,
2 bis 10 Molprozent ZnO,2 to 10 mole percent ZnO,
0,5 bis 5 Molprozent XO,0.5 to 5 mole percent XO,
wobei für XO die jeweils für sich bekannten Oxide Li2O und CaO verwendet sind.where the oxides Li 2 O and CaO, which are known per se, are used for XO.
According to the inventive method either the starting materials for the ferromagnetic Body mixed with the additional oxides and pressed according to ceramic criteria and sintered, or manganese-magnesium-zinc-ferrite powder is mixed with the additional oxides and after ceramic Pressed and sintered. When using lithium carbonate as the starting product the same is converted into lithium oxide and carbon dioxide in the course of the firing process, whereby the lithium oxide builds into the ferrite grid.
.By adding lithium oxide and calcium oxide, which are known per se, to the substoichiometric magnesium-manganese-zinc ferrites, their temperature behavior is surprisingly significantly improved. Comparative tests on substoichiometric manganese-magnesium-zinc ferrite with 1 mol percent Li 2 O or 1 mol percent Li 2 O and 2 mol percent CaO showed that when Li 2 O and CaO were used in combination with cores containing only Li 2 O contained, around 10% higher useful voltages can be achieved with constant interference voltage. Both core types, ie the only with Li 2 O and the sub-stoichiometric manganese-magnesium-zinc-ferrites mixed with CaO, have a large operating temperature range of about 10 to 60 ° C. When both ferrite substances are sintered to the same useful voltage, the ferrite also has CaO and Li 2 O have an operating temperature range which is approximately 5 ° C. higher, so that the object on which the invention is based is achieved in a particularly advantageous manner. .
