Die Erfindung betrifft ein mandolinenartiges Instrument, dessen Saiten durch Niederdrücken und Hochfedern von Tasten angerissen werden, und besteht in einer derartigen Ausbildung der Anreißzähne, daß sie sowohl beim Niederdrücken als auch beim Hochfedern der Taste die betreffende Saite, sei diese einfach oder doppelt, anreißen, wodurch ein Tremolo erzielt wird. Ist der Anreißer mit zwei Zähnen besetzt, so ertönt die Saite beim Auf- und Niederbewegen je zweimal, während bei der Mandoline beim Hin- und Herstreichen die Saite je einmal nur ertönt.
