Mobile excavator The invention relates to a mobile excavator
whose chassis frame is the engine in front (viewed when driving on the road), the slewing ring
for the excavator boom at the rear and the driver's cab are arranged at the side, so
that the engine and .the driver's cab are not as in the previously used mobile excavators
participate in the side pivoting movements of the excavator boom. This type of construction is
both constructively and operationally advantageous, in particular
because high driving speeds are possible on the road and the excavator operator less
easily tired. For such a mobile excavator, patent application B 82
416 V / 84d proposed a type in which a
Seat from a position for dredging to a position with the opposite
The direction of view can be changed for road travel and the driver's cab in
the main thing between the one side of the chassis frame one behind the other
arranged wheels is attached. The present invention aims to
to design a mobile excavator of the type mentioned so that in the driver's cab
In addition to the excavator operator, there is space for a passenger and is particularly good at this
Visibility for both the excavator operation, especially when digging a trench
with regard to a steep insight into the ditch, as well as for driving on the road
result. The invention consists primarily in that in a mobile excavator
of the type mentioned from two opposite viewing directions located in the driver's cab
resulting seats which are intended for the excavation operation are higher than the other,
seat intended for road travel and that the floor section belonging to the higher seat
the driver's cab at least over part of the on the side of the landing gear in question
located
The rear wheel extends beyond the turntable
load-bearing rear end of the chassis frame is extended.
abgewandelten Ausführung in Seitenansicht zeigt.
2
an diesem befestigt.
strichpunktierten Linien dargestellte Lage einnimmt.
This makes it possible for two men to find space in the driver's cab and still the wheelbase can be as short as is desired in view of the off-road capabilities of the excavator. At the same time, the high level of the seat intended for excavator operation improves the view of the pit and the all-round view. The two seats expediently have a common support which is continued in a common backrest. As a result, the two seats, which are arranged at different heights, take up only a small area within the driver's cab. The view of the pit from the overhead seat can be further improved in that a rear fender part is articulated in such a way that it can be folded up to the front of the floor section belonging to this seat, which forms part of the fender belonging to the respective rear wheel . In this case, the folding up of the rear fender part is expediently restricted by a stop so that it protects the foot control elements required during excavation operation in the end position determined by the stop. The fact that in a mobile excavator according to the present invention the turntable of the excavator boom-supporting rear end of the chassis frame is extended beyond the rear end, is advantageous in that support arms can be attached to the rearwardly projecting end of the chassis frame, as they do in mobile excavators usually used to enlarge the support base. In the drawing, a mobile excavator is shown schematically in a side view as an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in FIG. 1, while FIG. 2 shows, on a smaller scale, the rear end of a mobile excavator with a modified embodiment in a side view. _ On the front part of the chassis frame 1 sits the motor, the output of which is rated for high driving speeds on the road and which also drives an oil pump for the hydraulic system of the excavator. On the rear end of the chassis frame there is a slewing ring 2 which is able to transmit both pressure and tensile forces and which carries a bracket 3 for the excavator boom 4. The horizontal axis 5 of the joint, in which the boom 4 is mounted on the bracket 3, intersects the axis 6 of the turntable 2. Both the rear wheels 7 and the front wheels 8 are in drive connection with the motor via cardan shafts and gears . The wheelbase is roughly the same as the track width. The driver's cab 9 is attached to the chassis frame 2 on one side thereof. It extends from the fender 1o over the front, # derrad 8 * located on this side of the chassis to over a part 11 of the fender that belongs to the rear wheel 7. Inside the driver's cab 9 there are two seats for opposite viewing directions. One seat, 12, is designed for road travel and the other seat, 13, for excavating. The seat 13 is at least as much higher than the seat 12 as the upper side of the fender part 11 is higher than the part 14 of the cabin floor belonging to the seat 12. Accordingly, the excavator operator sitting on the seat 13 g reaches the fender part 11 with his feet: e "The two seats 12, 13 have a common support 15, which continues upward in one of the two seats in common: the back 16. The driver's cab 9 has a structure 17 which is glazed at the front and on both sides to protect the driver sitting on the seat 12. Furthermore, the driver's cab has a rear part 18 which is glazed on all sides and which can be tilted in a joint 19 with a horizontal transverse axis With the position of the hood-like cabin part 18 shown with solid lines, the excavator operator sitting on the seat 13 is protected from the weather in all directions 11, which forms the floor section for the rear cabin part, is in a hinge 20 with a horizontal, transverse to the drive door Attention lying axis of the rear part of the fender belonging to the rear wheel 7 is attached. It can be folded up from the position shown with solid lines, in which it forms the extension of the fender part 11, until it assumes the position shown with dot-dash lines. Here it is supported against the steering column 22 and is held firmly by a device 23. At the end of the chassis frame 1 protruding beyond the rear wheels 7, support arms 24 with the associated hydraulic actuating devices are articulated to be adjustable on both sides. These can be lowered to the ground during excavation operations to enlarge the support base. The excavator operator has a good panoramic view from the raised seat 13, so that he can observe the movements of the excavator bucket in all directions. When the excavator is digging a pit just behind its tail end, the operator has from. Its raised seat also provides an excellent view of the pit. This is promoted by folding up the wing part 21 as described. The excavator operator can look past the seat 13 and past the rear wheel 7 into the pit via the fender part 21, which is shown in accordance with the dash-dotted lines. If he wants to observe the slope of the pit facing him, he can do so by leaning forward. This is easily possible if the cabin part 18 is tilted into the position shown with dash-dotted lines. The fender part 21 offers the further advantage that it protects the pedals and other operating means which are arranged in the area of the fender part 11 for the excavator operation. Due to the fact that the turntable is arranged on the rearwardly projecting end of the chassis frame 1, a pivoting of the excavator boom 4 by about 3ooo is made possible, despite the fact that the driver's cab extends backwards over the fender part 11, so that the boom does not can only be pivoted to both sides of the excavator within the working area, but also to the front so that it can be stored next to the driver's cab for road travel or a truck can be loaded, which is set up in front of the front end of the excavator for reasons of space. As FIG. 2 shows, the driver's cab can under certain circumstances extend even further to the rear than is assumed in FIG. Here, the steering column 22 is arranged approximately above the axis of the rear wheel 7, so that the floor section 26, which belongs to the raised seat 13, extends correspondingly far to the rear. = In this case, folding up the rear fender part 27 can be dispensed with if it is arranged steeply enough so that the excavator operator, if necessary, if he looks ahead, gets a steep view of the ditch over this fender part.
