Buchstaben, Figuren o. dgl., wie sie insbesondere zur Kennzeichnung von Geschäften, Fabrikgebäuden usw. auf dem Mauerwerk oder auf sonstigen Unterlagen angebracht werden. Es ist bekannt, derartige, meist aus Holz oder Blech bestehende Zeichen mit Leuchtröhren zu kombinieren, um sie auch bei Nacht sichtbar zu machen.
