Hierdurch wird die sofortige Mischung, des wärmeren Kesselwassers mit dem kälteren Speisewasser verhindert, das letztere vielmehr veranlafst, vermöge seines gröfseren specifischen Gewichtes, in den Unterkessel zu sinken, wohin gleichzeitig der in A ausgeschiedene, auch specifisch schwerere Schlamm gelangt, indem derselbe durch den Stofs des eintretenden Speisewassers nach hinten getrieben wird.The feed water is fed in at the lowest point of A through pipe g which extends into the boiler with a check valve / attached to the front floor. Die Ableitung der Dämpfe durch das in den Heizgasen über dem Kessel liegende Dampfrohr / nach vorn und die Anordnung aller Ventile und Sicherheitsapparate am vorderen Boden von A beim Stand des Kesselwärters machen deren leichte und sichere Handhabung und Beobachtung möglich. Die Führung der Heizgase durch den Dampfraum von B hindurch und über den Dampfraum von A hinweg erzeugt trockenen Dampf.
