Description
The top 22 includes a plurality of juxtaposed holes 28, which have the outer shape of the container 14 substantially. In the illustrated embodiment the containers 14 have a substantially octagonal shape so that the holes 28 also have a have an octagonal shape. The peripheral dimensions of the holes are preferably somewhat larger than the outer dimensions of the container to be used, so that the container can be freely and easily inserted into the Insert holes 28 and remove them again. However, an arrangement must be provided to support the individual containers 14 relative to the upper part 22 of the carrier. That can be done in a simpler way Manner by causing some part of the container to have a transverse dimension which is larger than the largest transverse dimension of the hole in which the containers are respectively inserted. In the illustrated embodiment, the radially outwardly directed, octagonal contact flange is the container body 18 is formed so that it has a larger transverse dimension than the hole 28, in which it is to be used, so that the edge parts of the upper part 22, which surround the respective hole 28, can support a container 14 in a stable position. In this way you can create a multitude of containers 14 into holes 28 formed in the top 22 of the carrier 12 to to make them easier to carry. The number of holes 28 molded into the top 22 of the bracket 12 are to accommodate a corresponding number of containers 14, the respective requirements can be varied accordingly. During the polygonal shaped carrier 12 in any suitable number may be provided by downwardly directed side pieces, it preferably comprises at least two opposing side pieces 24 and 26. Opposing side pieces 24 are essential longer than the opposite side pieces 26, but they are smaller in their axial height than the container when resting on a support surface (Figs. 2 and 3). In particular, the opposite side pieces have 24, the axial height of which is less than that of the container 14, a dimension sufficient to to maintain the top 22 of the carrier 12 a predetermined amount above a support surface when the containers rest on this surface to prevent the container from accidentally shifting sideways from the carrier to prevent, while at the same time a removal of the container by hand is facilitated by
This is shown in detail in FIG. 3 shows where the outward-facing abutment flange and a portion of the top of the container body 18 above the top 22 of the carrier 12 lie when the bottom of the container rests on a support surface. When the containers 14 are used in the carrier 12, they have the in F i g. 4 arrangement shown. In particular, the thin and has flexible cover 20 sections which extend beyond the edge of the container body 18. in the illustrated embodiment, the cover 20 has a square shape, the largest dimension between two opposite sides substantially equal to the largest dimension between two opposite sides of the octagonal shaped abutment flange, so that when fastened of the cover 20 on the container body 18 in the form shown in FIG. 4 there are four sections which extend beyond the outer boundary of the contact flange of the container. Further the arrangement of the protruding portions of the cover is such that they are in substantially opposite one another Pairs are arranged, and this allows a user to grasp and bend out substantially opposite sections of the cover 20 when removing the individual Container 14 from the carrier 12 without the pouring surfaces of the container can be soiled. In addition to being able to be supported, the containers are therefore in a fixed position on a support surface in the case of a light one Removability designed so that they can be removed without in any way the The pouring surfaces of the containers become soiled.
