Der wesentliche Vorteil dieser Neuerung ist darin zu
erblicken, daß, abgesehen von der wesentlichen Vereinfa-
chung in der Fertigung und auch der Handhabung beim Anbrin-
gen und Lösen des Stieles vom Burstenholz, nunmehr die Hülse unmittelbar an dem
Barstenholz angeschlossen ist, und die Schenkel des Drahtbägels nur noch die Lage
des Stielhalters zum Barstenholz bestimmen. Hierdurch scheidet der Unsicherheitsfaktor
einer guten Verbindung von Drahtbügel und Hülse bei diesem neuartigen Stielhalter
aus und ist belanglos geworden, weil nunmehr die Bügel sogar lose in der Hülse sitzen

Auf einen Stiel a ist eine Hälse b aufgetrieben. Im freien unteren
Ende der Hälse ist ein Drahtbügel c mit seinen abgewinkelten Schenkeln d, die in
Nuten e des Bürstenholzes f einer Bürste g eingreifen und Stiel und Bürste in Gebrauchslage
bringen, eingelassen und durch Zusammendrücke der Hülse b in dieser befestigt. Die
jetzt zwischen den Schenkeln d des Drahtbügels einen gedoppelten Blechlappen
bildende Hülse ist an ihrem Ende zu einer Krampe h umgebo-
gen und in der Mitte geschlitzt, Durch diesen Schlitz i und durch ein entsprechend
großes Loch j im Barstenholz greift ein als Klammer dienendes Federband k, das zur

mit dem zu einer Nase umgebogenen unteren Ende n unter das Bürstenholz f und verbindet
so den Stiel a mit dem Burstenholz f. Der senkrecht über das Bürstenholz hinausragende
obere Teil (gestrichelte Darstellung in Abb. 3) des Federbandes k wird zur Sicherung
der Hefestigung an die abgewinkelte Hülse b gegen seine Ruckstellkraft
angelegt
und in dieser Lage durch einen Schleifring c festgehalten. Der Vollständigkeit halber
