Funktion der Zeugwasehpumpe
Beim Siederdracken des Holzstieles wird die Glocke mit
Wasser aad Laft in die Wäsche gedrückt. Gleichzeitig drackt
der Holzstiel, an dessen unterem Ende eine Scheibe ist, das Wasser aus dem Hauptrohr
heraus. Mit demselben Druck wird die im Glockenkopf vorhandene Luft herausgepreßt
und be-
wirkt so ein starkes Saugen. Beim Nachlassen schnellt der
Handstiel wieder nach oben.
