M 160538 KLASSE 30/. M 160538 CLASS 30 /.
Diese Fähigkeiten lassen sich dadurch erhöhen, daß man mit der Gaze geeignete pulverförmige StoffeThe subject of the present invention is a process for the production of Dressing materials, in particular bandage gauze, which are aseptic and antiseptic at the same time works. It is known that the bandage gauze alone is great for absorbent and Has the ability to dry out. These skills can be increased by having suitable powdered substances with the gauze
ίο verbindet. The highly absorbent bolus that even taking in maximum amounts of liquid only gradually has so far been the case has been used that he is either all by himself, i.e. H. in powder form immediately placed on the wound and then covered it with gauze, or that he, beforehand, in small gauze bags respectively. Sacks scattered loosely, applied to the wounds by means of this became. Has such handling
Wundflächen ausfüllt, verklebt und eine kontinuierliche Verdunstung und Austrocknung der Sekrete behindert.but the disadvantage that they are undertaken with extreme caution must and can then have a harmful effect, because with only somewhat livelier movement the substance dusts the bolus powder, the caves and bays of the wound respectively. Fills wound surfaces, glued and hinders continuous evaporation and drying of the secretions.
Das vorliegende Verfahren beabsichtigtThe present proceedings are intended
Now to remedy this inconvenience and to make the gauze or the material suitable for absorbing larger amounts of bolus in such a way that it prevents powdering and that the absorbency of both materials does not suffer. This prevents the loss of the aseptic properties associated with them. At the same time this enables the: to give gauze antiseptic properties, because their are other antiseptic substances suitable nature can be added after incorporation of the bolus without damage to their properties. The essence of the process is that the bolus of the gauze is incorporated together with a soap, preferably resin soap. By using the soap, significantly more bolus can be made to adhere, and on the other hand substances such as alkali, turpentine oil, benzoic acid, acetic acid and the like, which have an antiseptic effect or which in turn support asepsis or dissolution better, due to the presence of soap in emulsion or solution are better introduced, without the important property of the absorbency of the benzoegaze being impaired by these admixtures.
The following is an example of a method for producing a bandage gauze can be described in this way.
There is 1 kg of good white bolus with 350 g of 5 percent sodium hydroxide solution on the water bath cooked, and probably besides removing some of the water as well some breakdown of the bolus takes place. When the mixture has become half soft it is mixed with about 300 g of turpentine oil and 50 g of rosin to a pulp and - treated for another hour in a water bath. It then results in a semi-soft paste, which, if necessary, benzoic acid or the like can be added.
This paste is suspended in water for use and with this suspension the gauze soaked and dried.
