Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Gliederkessel für Heizungen, dessen Glieder derartig geformt und nebeneinander gestellt sind, daß in bekannter Weise der Füllschacht zwisehen ihnen entsteht. An den Außen- und Innenseiten der Glieder sind Rippen zur Bildung der Feuerzüge angebracht. Um den Feuergasen einen Eintritt in die Rauchkanäle zu gestatten, ist die innerste Rippe, wie bekannt, über dem Rost unterbrochen. Ein wesentlicher Vorteil anderen ähnlichen Ausführungen gegenüber besteht darin, daß in den Gliedern schlitzartige Öffnungen vorgesehen sind, durch die eine Platte aus Eisen oder feuerfestem Stoff gesteckt wird, welche, ähnlich wie die bei Wasserrohrkesseln bekannten Flammenwender, die Feuerzüge bildet. Durch die Platte wird ein erst auf- und dann absteigender Feuerzug gebildet.
