JULIUS DITTEL in SONDERSHAUSEN i.Th. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Stanzöl für keramische Massen.JULIUS DITTEL in SONDERSHAUSEN i.Th. Process for the production of punching oil for ceramic bodies.

Zusatz zum Patente 139264 vom 5. August 1902.Addendum to patent 139264 of August 5, 1902.

Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 18. August 1904 ab. Längste Dauer: 4. August 1917.Patented in the German Empire on August 18, 1904. Longest duration: August 4, 1917.

Tests have shown that the punching oil known from the patent 139264 for Ceramic masses are improved if the same amount is used in place of the stearic oil a mixture of tannin (tannic acid), glycerine oil and soap is used. Through this the punching oil gets a greater plasticity, and the work pieces can be made more easily using such punching oil the die can be excavated, with significant oil savings.

The punching oil according to the present invention, "thus consists of 5 parts by weight stearin 'and which are stirred together with a mixture of 3 parts by weight of ether and 46 1 J 2 parts by weight Petroleum under heating a mixture of a total of 20 parts by weight of tannic acid (tannic acid), Glyzerinöl and soap.
