Eine grosse Reihe von auf Organosiliciumverbindungen basierenden

besitzen.
Eine Aufgabe der 'vorliegenden Brfinduhg ist es, neue und
brauchbare Organosiliciuarmaasen !tu sohaffän. Eine indere
Auf-
gabe ist es, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung solbher lassen
zur
Verfügung zu stellen. Andere Aufgaben gehen aus den ?olsenden
hervor.
Gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung werden diese Aufgaben

Die Gruppe Z kann irgendeine substituierte oder nicht-aubeti-

tuierte fiperidylgruppe sein. Subatituenten, welche anwesend
sein können, sind z.B.. Alkylgruppen@wie z.B. 8ethylßruppen.
Es wird jedoch im allgemeinen bevorzugt, dass Z ein unsubati-
tuiertes oder mono-methyl--stibstituiertea Piperidylradikal
ist, wie x.B. 2--Piperidyl, 4-Pi.pei-idyl, 2--ltethyl"5--piperidyl

In den erfindungegemäneen Silosmen, welche unter
anderem
durch Hydrolyse und Kondensation aus einem erfindungegemäa-
sen hydrolysierbaren Silan heretellbar sind, können die
rest-
lieben Grupp-hn Alkyl-, Aryl-, Alkaryl-, Aralkyl- oder Alkenyl-
gruppen sein Geeignete Gruppen sind z.33.:
Methyl', Äthyl-, Chlormethyl--, Methoxyäthyl-, Vinyl-, Allyl-,
Phenyl-, Chlorphenyl-, Tolyl-, Benzyl-, Methoxy-, Äthozy-,
Phenoxy-, Meu-hoxyäthozy- und Allyloxy@gruppen.
Siloaane welche Methvl--, Phenyl-- oder Vinylgruppen oder
eine
Kombination von zwei oder mehreren derselben enthalten,
werden in vielen Füllen bevorzugt. -
Bei einem Verfahren zur Heretellutg der erfindnngsgemäneen.
xaaoen wird eine geeignete Pyridylailiciumverbindung zur
gewileechten Piperidylverbindung hydriert. Die als Ausgangs-
Material für diesen Zweck verwendete Pyridylverbndüng kann
beispielsweise durch die Reaktion eines Alkenylpyridinemit
einer Silioiumverbindyng hergestellt werden, welche mindestens
ein direkt an das Silicium gebundenes Waseerstof#atom ent-
hält. Bei diesem verfahren kann das Pyridinderivat in einem
nichtwässrigen. organischen Lösungsmittel, Brie z.», Äthanol,
. Eeeiasäure, Bensol oder Dioxan, gutgelöst werden.
Hierauf kann Salzsäure und ein Hydrierungskatalyeator Buge--
geben und da3 Gemisch entweder bei atmosphärischem oder
über-.
atmöepäriachem Druok mit Wasserstoff reduziert Herden.
Geeignete Hrdrierungekatalyeatoren, welche verwendet werden
können, sind. z.B. Adamd Platinoxydkatalysator, platinierte
Holzkohle, palladierte Holzkohle, platinierter*jiobest,
palla-
dierter'xsbeet und ähnliches. Der K$talynator wird normaler-
weise in Mengen von nicht mehr als 5 % Lind vorzugsweise
ungefähr von 2 %,besogen auf dae_Gewicht der Pyridylverbin-.
duns, verwendet. Die Menge an verwendeter Salzsäure beträgt
vorzugsweise 2--4 Mole Säure , je Pyridylgruppe.
Gröazere Mengen
Säure kMnen gegebenenfalls verwendet werden, doch erwächuen
daraus keine Vorteile. Die Reaktion kann bei erhöhter
Tempe-
ratur oder bei Raumtemperaturen ausgeführt werden.
ßeeipete Pyridylderivate, die zur Herstellung der erfindungs-,
gemässen Massen verwendet werden können, sind z.13. die
Addi-
tiönaprddukte von - 2-Vinylpyridin, 4-Vinylpyridin,
2-Methyl.-
5-v.inylpyridin und 2-Methyl--6-Vinylpyridin mit Silanen
und
Silozanen, welche mindestens ein direkt an Bilicium-gebunde-
nee.-1ü@111@tätQ@ 8@1e@1e@.
Andere erfindungege"eoe Produkte können durch Riaktion von
auf diene Weine erhaltenen Piperidyleiloxanen mit anderen
zur Verfügung stehenden Organopolyeilozane» erhalten werden.
So ergibt beispielsweise die Reaktion eines Piperidyldisolozanes
mit einem linearen Organopolysiloxan ein Produkt, welches
an
Ende durch Triorganoeilylgruppen abgeschlossen ist und welches
Endgruppen besitzt, die das Piperidylradikal mit freien
N-H.-Gruppen enthalten. Das nach obiger Vorschrift hergestellte
Produkt kann auch die Form einen' cyelischen Siloxane aufweisen,
und dieses kann mit anderen Diorganopolysiloxanen oder Disilo-
zanen ergänzt beine so dass Produkte erhalten werden, welche
eine unterschiedliche Anzahl Piperidylgruppen in der Silo=an-
ketteaufweisen.
Die erfindunsegemässen Produkte können für viele Zwecke
ver-
wendet wetdenjund zwar entweder allein oder als Modifizierungs-
mittel.in anderen Organosilidiummassen. So können sie beispiels-
weine als Modifizierungsmittel für-Öle, Pette und Gummis,
für
die Oberflächenbehandlung von Netallen und als reaktionsfähige
Bestandteile für die Bildung von Polymeren verwendet werden.
Die hydrolysierbaren Silane können natürlich auch zur Her-
etellung der Siloxane durch Hydrolyse und Kondensation ent-
weder alleine oder mit anderen hydrolyeierbaren ßilanen
ver-
wendet werden.
Die Erfindung wird durch die folgenden Beispiele näher er-
läutert. Alle Teile sind in Gewitht ausgedrückt.
ßeiepiel 1
24 Teile D--(4-Pyridyl)äthyloethyldiätho:eilan wurden in
100 ?eilen Xthanol dufgelöst, und es wurden 40 Teile konzen-
trierte Salzsäure dazugegeben. 0,2 Teile Platin-IV--oxyd
wurden zur Lösung gegeben, welche hierauf in einer Atmosphäre
von Wasserstoff heftig gerührt wurde, bis die theoretische
Menge Wasserstoff absorbiert war. Nach Beendigung der Reaktion
wurde der Katalysator durch Piltration abgetrennt und
Blas
Piltrat durch Abdampfen des Lösungsmitteln konzentriert.
Der Rest wurde mit 10%igem wässrigen Hatriumhydrozyd neutra-
liniert und das Piperidyleilan durch Ätherextraktion isoliert.
Nach Trocknen der ätherischen Lösung ,.über waaeerfreien
Natriura--
aulfat und anschliessende Filtration wurde das Piparidrl-@
eilen durch Destilation gereinigt. Auf diese Weise wurden
21 Teile einer farblosen Plüseigkeit erhalten.*Analyne und

punkt von 134 bi.n 1360 ü bei 0,01 ton Ug erhalten wurden.

Der Druck im Autoklaven wurde abgeblasaen und das Produkt

der Vorschrift von Beispiel l.süe dem Gemisch isoliert.
Auf
diese Weise wurden 40 Teile 1,3--Eis--(D-(2-methyl-5#--piperydyl)
#lthy.1:tetramatliyldisiloxan erhalten, welches mit
dem Produkt
von Beispiel. 2 identisch Ware
5 Teile des Produkte von Beispiel 2 wurden mit 150 Teilen
Oxamethylcyclotatraailoxan und 0,75 Teilen Kaliumhydroxyd,
welches in 0,75 Teilen Wasser gelöst war, gemischt
uäd das
Gemisch wurde erhitzt und 6 st bei 1600 bis 1800a gerührt.
Hierauf wurde es auf 130°C abgekühlt, 1,5 Teile Aatriumbioar--
bongt wurden z,igegeben und das Gemisch wurde 30
min bei. 1300d
gerührt. Das Gemisch wurde dann abgekühlt und filtriert, wobei
ein klares b l erhalten wurde. Bestandteile, welche bis hinauf
zu 20000 flüchtig waren, wurden durch Erhitzen entfernt,
und auf
diese Weise wurden 131 Teile einen linearen Dimethylpoliailoz-
ans erhalten, welches am Ende durch Piperidylgthylgruppen
ab-
ge33chlOesen war.

25 Teile ß-(2-Methyl-5 pyridyl)üthylheptam.ethylcyclotetra-
eiloxan wurden in 100 Teilen Äthanol aufgelöst, und es wurden
20 Teile-konzentrierte Salzsäure dßaugegeben. 0,2
