Nochleistungswiderstand
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Nochleistungewiderstand, beste-
hend aus WiderstaMseleaenten bandförmigen Naterials,
deren
Züge insbesondere aäsnderförmig verlaufen und
mit den Schmal-
seiten nebeneinander angeordnet sind.
Widerstände, aufgebaut aus Videratandselementen der genannten
Art, haben verschiedene Vorteilsgegenüber Draht- oder GuBele-
menten, von denen insbesondere die der Robustheit gegenüber
Gußelementen und die kleinvolumige Haumöglichkeit gegenüber
Drahtelementen bestechen. Mit uideretendsbärAern,
die zudem
gegenüber Gußelerenten engere Widerstandstoleranzen aufwei-
sen, kann sm, insbesondere wenn die verwendeten Bänder
in
schon vorgesohlegener Weise abgestützt sind und gegen
gen und gegenseitige Berührung an gefährdeten Stellen
bei
Belastung gesichert sind, schon recht kleine Widerstände
auf--
bauen, Nachteilig war bei den bisher bekannten Aasnührunge-
formen dieser Art, daß an den für elektrische Inschlässe
vor-
gesehenen Umlen%ungsetellen die Temperatbaren so hoch
liegen.

nutzen wollte. Man muBte daher die Mibel an
besondere Zwischen-
kleml.eisten heranführen, die In gewissen Abstand

standeelementen gehalten waren. Ton dort übernahmen dann
blanke
Metallverbindungen den ElesentehanschluB.
Auch besondere Uhlung der kritischen Stel ? en wurde echou
vor-
geschlagen. Die bekannten Mittel sind jedoch entweder aufwendig
oder vergrößern die Bauform. Speziell für Dacbwiderstünde
von
elektrischen Triebfahrzeugen, die ass Auf ehr- bzw.

Das wird durch die Erfindung dadlawcb erelcht, daü die
Wl.der-
standselemente an ihren ümlenkan3fs- ozre. Verhiadungs®te
len
auf ein Mehrfaches der Banddicke veratärkt und i n der Form
etwa der dort herrschenden Stromver:eilung engepaßt sind.
Durch eine solche wesentliche Materialverstärkung des breit
tlächlgen Widerstandsbandes wird einerseits der wirksame Wider-
stand dieses Abschnittes herabgesetzt und daril'her
hinaus
die abstrahlende Oberfläche vergrößert. Die jcxäraung, die
normalerweise bei einem auf 800o C
belasteten Widerstand
an solchen Stellen um 300° C liegt, kann auf diese Weise
mit einfachen Mitteln um 10Q° C Viehalten werden.
Dabei ist
allerdings dafür Borge zu tragen, dßß an den verstärkten
Uslenkungastellen eine genügende Belüftung vorhanden ist,
z. B. dadurch, daƒ bei Dachwiderständen die Umlenkungsstellen
frei im Fahrluftstron liegen. ,
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform Bind die Widerstands-
elemente aus bandförmigen Streifen aufgebaut, die mit
teil-
weise überdeckenden Verbindungsstücken mehrfacher Banddicke
von vorzugsweise gleichem Materi.Ll und insbesondere Trapez--
oder Dreieckgestalt verschweißt oder verlötet sind. Die
materialtechnisch und fertigungstechnisch günstige
Trapez-
oder Dreieekform für die Verbindungeatücke mit
nach außen
ragender Spitze ergab sich aus Untersuchungen über die Strom-
erteilung an den Umlenkuagastellen.Reehteckige Verbindungen
werden in den Ecken nicht ausgenutzt und erhöhen
im wesent-
lichen nur das Gewicht. Denkbar sind jedoch such halbkreis-
förmige Verbindungsstücke, doch liegen hierfür die
Gestehungs-
kosten höher, und auch die Anpassung an die bandförmigen
Strei-
fen ist schwieriger und teurer. Bei solchen zusammengesetzten
Widerständen ist ein kontinuierlicher Stromübergang wesent-
lich, der mit bekannten Schraubverbindungen nicht erzielbar
ist. Man ist deshalb den Weg der SAhweißung bei gleichen
Widerstandsmaterial bzw. der Irötung bei unterschiedlichem
Material, s. B. bei Verbindung mit rupfer, gegangen. Wenn-
gleich die anfallende Stromwärme an den ümlenkungeatellen
mit s. ä. Kupferverstärkung geringer
ist, so stehen dem der gröz.
sere aufwand zur einwandfreien hötung, insbesondere ist
an Hart-
lötung gedacht, und die größere Wäraeleitfähigkeit des Materials
gegenßiber. Allgemein gesehen dürfte Teehalb dem Schweißen
mit
Verbindungasthcken- aus gleichem Widerstandsmaterial
der Vorzug
gegeben werden.
Zur Material- und damit lastenerspernie, insbesondere für
zusam-
menzusetsende Wideratandnelemente der erfindungsgemäßen
Art,
ist; es zweckmäßig, daß die bandförmigen Streifen an ihren
En-
den einen gleichsinnig schrägen Schnitt aufweisen, der durch
abwechselnde :Gage der Streifen den Blanken des Verbindungs-
etückea enpaßbar ist.
Liegen die bandförmigen Streifen mit denn Breieck- oder
tropes-
fördigen Verbindungsstück bezüglich ihrer Schrägkanten deckungs-
gleich, werden sie schmalseitig mit diesem verschweißt oder
verlötet.
Der Erfindungsgedanke ist weiterhin anwendbar
auch bei fort-
laufend gewickelten Bändern. Durch wechselseitiges
Umschlagen in
Wickelrichtung können hierbei die Umlenkungsatellen zu
trapez- oder dreieekförmigen Taschen ausgebildet seine,
in
die Mlatücke gleichartiger Form, mehrfacher Banddicke
und aus vorzugsweise gleichem Material eingelötet oder ein-
geschweißt sind. Wie schon vorher beschrieben, ist auch
hier
die Verwendung von Fülletücken aus dem gleichen Widerstands-
material. zweckmüßig.
An Hand von schematisch zu wertenden Beispielen wird die
Er-
findung-verdeutlicht.
Es zeigen:

ihren Enden 4, 5 oder 6 aufweisen, durch zwei trapezförmige
Verbindungsstücke ? aus dickerem Widerstandematerial
zusammen-
gesetzt. Beide Verbindungsstücke haben gleichen Grundaufbau,
wobei das eine eine zusätzlich aufgeßchweißte Lasche 8 für
einen elektrischen Zriischenanschluß oder Abgriff trägt.
Die
schräg geschnittenen Planken der Verbindungestücke ?
fallen
mit den schräg geschnittenen Enden 4, 5 bzw. 5, 6
zusammen
uid sind dort stirnseitig (Stellen 9) mit diesen verschweißt.
VAitere Schweißnähte sind an den Stellen 1® gezogen.
Fig. 2, ein vergrößerter Schnitt gemäß der aus Pig. 1 her-

vorgehenden Schnittlinie AB, gibt die genffiten Einzelheiten,
wie Lage der Schweißnähte an den Stellen 9, 10, die wesent-
liche Materialverstärkung an den Umlenkungsatellen
durch die
Verbindungsstücke ? sowie die Anordnung der Lasche
8 an der
den Widerstandsstreifen 2, 3 abgekehrten Seite des Verbin-
dungsstückes 7, wieder. Hit 11 sind Löcher in den
Verbindungs-
stücken ? zur Befestigung von hier nicht dargestellten
Trag-
elementen, insbesondere ist an Isolatoren (Vgl. Fig. 6)
ge-
dacht, bezeichnet. 12 stellt ein Verbindungsloch für den
elek-
trischen änachluß in der Lasche 8 dar.
Während bislang die Widerstandselemente aus
Streifen zusammen®
gesetzt waren, zeigt Big. 3 ein fortlaufend gewickeltes
Widerstandselement. Das Band 13 ist hier we@.#-jelseitig
in
Wickelrichtwag umgeschlagen. An den Umleakungastellen sind
trapesföraige Taschen 14 gebildet, in die gleichermaßen
trepesfftmige ltill®tücke 15 (e. Iris. 4) aus gleichartigem
Widerstaadsmaterial mehrfacher erddicke eingepaßt sind.

linie CD. Entlang der angedeuteten Linie 18 ist das Füll-
stück 1,5 b»ideeitig mit dem Widerstandsband 13 verschweißt.
Hei Verwendung von 1Cupferfüllstiteken und geeignetem Widsr--
etandeaaterial ist gegebenenfalls, wie schon erwähnt, auch
ein völliges "Einläten" der Füllstücke möglich. 19 deutet
ein lIetestigungsfoch erwähnter Art für Tragelemente an.
Widerstände, aufgebaut aus Elementen in der erfindungegemäßen
Art, geigen an ihren Umlenicungsstellen ein weitgehend "kühles"
'herhalten, das einen direkten Anachluß von stromführenden,
normal. isolierten Kabeln auch an die Anschlußlasehen der
Zwi-
8chenenechlüsse 8, 17 gestattet.
Fig. 5 zeigt nurmehr einen entsprechend den geschilderten
Möglichkeiten aufgebauten kompletten zweietagigen Brems--
und AnlaBwiderstend eines Triebfahrseuges, angeordnet auf
dem Dach desselben. Bierbei, deutet 20 des Ddah eines
aus
der Zeichenebene heraustretenden Triebwagens an, auf den
mittels Sttitzisolatoren 21 ein Widerstand, bestehend aus
zwei äiderstandsbandetagen 2`, frei in Fahrtwind
aufgebaut
ist. Auf der rechten Seite der Fig. 6 ist der vordere
Stütz-
isolator zur Sichtbarmachumg der dahinter liegenden Trag-
