Axle drive housing for vehicles The invention relates to an axle drive housing for vehicles, in particular made of light metal, in which a differential gear housing with a ring gear and a drive pinion are rotatably mounted and the output gears of the differential gear are non-rotatably arranged on stub shafts normal to the drive pinion, and in which at least one stub shaft with its associated drive half-shaft is articulated. Axle drive housing of the above type cannot be rigidly connected to the axle tubes because of the deflectable drive half-shafts. As a result, that part of the structural strength of these housings that results from their rigid connection with the achromatic tubes in other types of axle drive housings must be brought into effect by constructive effort on the housing body itself. This requirement for a corresponding structural design of the axle drive housing is in turn opposed to the fact that the latter must have an assembly opening for introducing the force transmission members. For this purpose, it is known in Achiantrive housings of the type mentioned that a housing cover is provided on the ring gear-side housing jacket in which the ring gear-side bearing of the differential gear is arranged Meinbrane, which changes the bearing fit. It is also known to provide the housing cover at the rear of the housing part opposite the pinion bearing. This arrangement is also disadvantageous because, due to the loss of rear torsional rigidity on the drive housing, its statically parallel bearing fitting times for the differential gear housing diverge under the influence of the drive load in the direction of the housing opening. The object on which the invention is based is to circumvent the difficulties identified in the construction of an axle drive housing defined at the outset as a rigid support and bearing body, to simplify the manufacture of such a housing and to improve the storage of differential gear housing and drive pinion. The object outlined above is achieved according to the invention in that the axle drive housing is separated in the vertical plane by the axis of rotation of the drive pinion into a larger and a smaller housing part on the ring gear side. This division gives significant advantages. Both halves of the housing can be cast without a core. The larger part of the housing on the side of the ring gear is extremely torsion-resistant. Furthermore, a housing opening for mounting the drive point is superfluous, which further increases the torsional strength. Anchor bolts can be provided for the pinion bearing, which serve on the one hand for rigid connection of the two housing parts and on the other hand prevent disadvantageous expansion of the pinion bearing seats in the housing. The invention also provides the possibility, in an advantageous manner and without affecting the production of the housing, that a rigid partition wall of the smaller housing part, extending in cross section essentially perpendicular to the housing parting plane, can form a common approximate contour of differential gear housing and drive pinion. This partition can, for example, be made in one piece with the housing jacket and can be produced with this by casting in one operation. The smaller housing part is also effectively stiffened by this partition. The sensitivity to thermal expansion of the bearing seat for the drive pinion can be reduced in a further advantageous embodiment of the invention in that the partition is rigidly connected to the bearing seat of the drive pinion shaft inside the housing. As a result, the bearing seat is stiffened on the one hand and the amounts of heat that occur are dissipated better on the other. To the hot keep 01 by the position Reitz the differential gear housings in Klej-nez4m housing part and a better Plun-ung the thrown by the rotating ring gear and differential gear oil # to reach amounts of Brfindung the intermediate wall and opposed housing jacket enclosed Kanalraux can the smaller casing part opposite in further the Imnenraum, the entire Achaantriebegehäuses flüssigkeitedicht by a lid be closed * a result, the rotating flow of oil is additionally assured in an advantageous manner and the adverse plan work of the oil advantageously reduces * Erfindungogemäß, the channel space of the smaller casing part through a lower opening with the ÖlaumLpf of Acheantriebegehäusen and on the other hand, they are in contact with the atmosphere through an opening at the top. Thus, in a simple advantageously an effective venting the drive housings can & obtained To further increased stiffening of the smaller casing parts in Querschnittaebenen the Kamalrauiaes arranged Versteifungestege rigidly connected to the intermediate wall and the adjacent housing jacket his order escape Üldünste or komprJmierte by heating air from the upper opening of the channel space In the development of the invention, the channel chambers formed by the stiffening webs are connected to one another through web openings Oil vapors form in the channel space * For this purpose, according to a further feature of the invention, the openings in at least two of the stiffeners arranged between the oil sump and the atmosphere side can be used S! 3 webs must be offset from one another.
