Description
Spare wheel for vehicles with pneumatic tires, in particular motor vehicles The invention relates to the formation of a spare wheel for vehicles with pneumatic tires, in particular Motor vehicle that consists of a tread of the tire of the main wheel partially Surrounding wheel disc consists, on the angled disc portion of an elastic Race is applied, and that in the event of tire damage without changing the wheel on the main wheel attached and fixed there.
Known emergency wheels of this type are rigidly connected to the wheel rim and on their angled disc sections have high races made of flexible resilient material. The races should be sufficient for an emergency bike Resulting suspension, but take up additional space in the radial direction, the is usually not present in the wheel arches of vehicles. The invention shows a way that is sufficient despite the small radial expansion of the race Suspension can be created: It is suggested that the outside diameter of the raceway not much larger than the outer diameter of one on the main wheel placed snow chain and that the wheel disc of the temporary spare wheel is in two parts, the outer part of this wheel disc provided with the raceway rests on the rim of the main wheel with the interposition of an elastic ring and with the other part of the wheel disc to be fastened to the hub of the main wheel is connected by a second elastic ring. The raceway and the one on the The elastic ring lying on the rim of the main wheel together result in a sufficient Suspension for the spare wheel.
The wheel disc of the temporary spare wheel must then be in two parts. The outer one against the rim of the main wheel resilient part must also appropriate displacements against the inner part to be attached to the main wheel. The second elastic ring makes this possible and at the same time serves to support the elastic Ring on the rim.
In detail, the temporary spare wheel can be designed so that the outer part the wheel disc has a shoulder running concentrically to the wheel axis the outer surface of which is a rubber ring supported on the outer rim flange of the wheel rests and an annular web is attached to the inner surface. Here can the hub part of the wheel disc may be in the form of a bowl, between the Edge and the annular web of the second elastic ring, e.g. with pins, held is. The known emergency wheels can only be attached to the main wheel with the help of a jack be attached, which requires the constant carrying of a jack. Emergency bikes according to the present invention, however, can easily be trained so that the Assembly, as described in more detail below, can be carried out without a jack can. The outer part of the Wheel disc must then consist of at least two Divide, e.g. two sectors or two segments that are screwed together or can be designed to be foldable in a hinge-like manner. Then you can Main wheel with the flat tire after the hub part of the wheel disc of the temporary spare wheel and the larger sector or the larger segment of the outer part of the wheel disc have been attached to the main wheel by slowly approaching the eccentric Let the temporary spare wheel run up and then move the rest of the sector or assemble the remaining segment. The division of the outer part of the wheel disc of the temporary spare wheel in two (or possibly more) parts has the additional advantage that the temporary spare wheel can be better accommodated in the vehicle, e.g. in the trunk. the Invention is based on two embodiments shown in the drawing explained in more detail. 1 shows a main wheel with an emergency wheel according to the invention in view, FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a main wheel with another temporary spare wheel according to the invention and FIG. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV in Fig. 3. In Figs. 1 and 2, there is a main wheel consisting of a tire 10 and a rim 11, and an emergency wheel placed on the rim 11 is shown, da-a by means of not shown extended wheel bolt on the wheel carrier is attached. The temporary spare wheel in turn consists of an outer wheel disk part 12 with an angled section 13 on which a solid rubber with a high degree of hardness existing, only up to the outer circumference of an otherwise placed on the running surface 10 ' Snow chain reaching race ring 14 is attached, and from a hub-side, bowl-shaped Part 15.
The outer wheel disk part 12 has a concentric axis 16 of the wheel 10, 11 extending shoulder 17. On the outer surface of the same lies one on the rim flange 11 'supported, the forces from the race 14 on the rim 11 transmitting rubber ring 18, which by an annular holder 19 after covered outside. On the inner surface of the shoulder 18 is an annular ridge 20 attached, the free edge 21 for attaching an elastic ring 22 with Pins 23 is provided. The bowl-shaped hub part 15 is above its paddling Edge 24 and pin 25 are connected to the elastic ring 22.
To stiffen the wheel disc are both on the outer wheel disc part 12 and 15 webs 26 are provided on the bowl-shaped hub part. (You could also Attach beads.) The temporary spare wheel shown in Figs. 3 and 4 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 and 2 only in that the outer wheel disc part 12 consists of two sectors 12 'and 12 ″ (FIG. 3) facing edge sections 27 ', 28' of the radially extending edges 27, ' 28 of the larger segment 12 'beveled. At the edges 27, 28 are angled flanges 29, 30 are provided, on which the smaller sector 12 ″ is fastened by means of screws 31 will. A fastened to the shoulder 17 is used to better hold the sector 12 ″ Retaining ring 32 to which the sector 12 # is additionally attached by means of screws 33.
With the temporary spare wheel shown in Fig. 3 and 4 can be used without a jack the vehicle can be made ready to drive again. this happens as follows: The hub part is first placed on the main wheel with the damaged tire 15 with the larger sector 12 'in this way on the wheel hub by means of elongated wheel bolts 34 attached that the recess for the smaller sector 12 "after the roadway comes to rest. Then the vehicle slowly moves under its own power moved forward or backward, with the main wheel over the beveled edge portion 27 'or 28' gradually onto the running surface of the race 14 of the larger sector 12 'arrives; After this process, the smaller sector 12 # i can then use the Screws 31 and 33. are fastened on the flanges 29, 30 and the retaining ring 32.
