Groove connection for fastening machine parts, in particular sliding pieces on shafts or rods. In technology, especially in mechanical engineering and in the manufacture of measuring instruments, the problem often arises that some machine parts, such as gears, disks or the like. or where sliding pieces, fixed or slidable, have to be connected to shafts or rods. It is generally known to provide the shafts or rods with grooves for this purpose and to insert slot nuts into them that positively connect the parts to be fastened to the shafts or rods secured against falling out, Damage that makes it necessary to replace the T-nuts often occurs in the case of solid mutually-fitting connections, This leads to difficulties over long periods of use if the T-nuts are firmly connected to the shafts or rods as a result of deformation or the accumulation of dirt particles and resinified oil .
Nut
der Welie bzwQ Stange
angeordnet sind.In the case of displaceable groove connections, frequent replacement is necessary due to wear and tear, and here too difficulties similar to those with fixed groove connections can arise. Above all, with these groove connections it is very difficult to eliminate any loosening caused by wear. The aim of the invention is to create a groove connection which remedies the abovementioned deficiencies. It consists primarily in the fact that the groove connection has one or more slot nuts slotted in the longitudinal direction has, which can be spread apart to a selectable extent in the Groove the Welie or Q rod are arranged.
Nutensteines fluchtet. This design has the advantage that the sliding blocks and the grooves
Manufactured with larger tolerances and, as a result, the sliding blocks in without effort
the associated grooves can be inserted, and that they are due to the surface pressure
sit very well between the side surfaces of the sliding nuts and the grooves. With strong
Spreading apart the groove teinhälften created by the longitudinal slot
a non-slip connection and, if the spreading is less pronounced, a sliding connection
be created with selectable sliding ability, In structural development of the invention
every sliding block is equipped with a means for expanding the sliding block halves,
partially slotted shaft firmly connected, the backlash-free and rotatable in one
Bore of the sliding piece sits and its longitudinal slot with the longitudinal slot of the
Sliding block is aligned.
e-i-@@ch erfolgen,
In this way, the sliding block with the means for spreading apart forms a structural unit that is easy to insert and remove. The slotted shank connected to the sliding block halves can usually be sufficiently spaced if dimensioned accordingly. feathers. However, it is advisable if it has a recess at its end connected to the groove halves which, in cooperation with the longitudinal slot, facilitates the shank springing apart. A very simple tool. for spreading apart the lower .._ adhesive end and the sliding block halves connected to it consists of a screw that can be screwed into a threaded hole in the shaft. In order to cause the above-mentioned spreading apart with little effort and nevertheless high pressure, the groove connection is preferably designed so that the core hole of the thread runs out into a hollow cone at the level of the nut halves and that a steel ball is arranged in this. For special cases, for example for measuring devices, and in particular for hanging measuring devices with several measuring arms arranged on a rod, it is useful if the mutually joint has several slot nuts arranged in a long groove, which, depending on the tightening of their visual screws, are partially of the Guide and partially the clamping can serve. Here, for example, one or more T-nuts can be used for the sliding connection of one measuring arm and another or several other T-nuts for the sliding attachment of the second measuring arm with a round or profile rod. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a slot connection according to the invention in cross section, Fig. 2 shows the individual parts of a slot nut according to the invention in a three-dimensional representation and Figure 3 shows a modification of the slot connection according to the invention in longitudinal section. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1, which shows, for example, the non-rotatable connection of a sliding piece 1 serving as a measuring arm with the longitudinal rod 2 of a length measuring device, a sliding and fixable slot nut 4 is seated in the groove 3 of the rod 2 dividing it into two halves 4a and 4b. A shaft 6 is firmly connected to these halves and has a slot 7 that extends over the greater part of its length, is aligned with the slot 5 of the Nutensteinas 4 and has a recess 8 at its lower end. The slot 7 and the recess 8 have the consequence that the shaft 6 can spring apart at the bottom, the shaft 6, which with its upper part. Seated free of play and rotatable in a bore 9 of the slider 1 is with a threaded hole 10 ver. @ see into which a knurled screw
11 can be screwed in, and de I at the lower end to a
Hollow cone 1B, verett v In this there is a steel ball
14, which, when the screw 11 exerts pressure on it, spreads the two slot nut halves 4., 4b apart, so that their side surfaces are pressed against the side walls of the groove 3 * Depending on the strength of the pressure exerted by the screw 11 the groove halves 4a, 4b are pressed against the groove walls with different pressures, so that they either connect the slide 1 immovably to the longitudinal rod 2 or enable this piece to be moved in a sliding manner. By firmly tightening the screw 11, the slider 1 can then be securely clamped at the selected point. In the case of the sliding pieces that are to be permanently connected to the rod 2, the knurled screws 11 can be replaced by cap screws, If the groove 3 or the sliding block 4 is worn, the adhesive fit and / or the sliding fit can be readjusted at any time by turning the screw accordingly 11 ei - @@ ch,
As Fig. 3 shows, several T-nuts 4 , 4 ', 42, 43, 44 can take the place of one T-nut 4. Some of the T-nuts can be used for guidance and some of these blocks are used for clamping have any slope and, if necessary, replace otherwise usual guide strips. The groove connection described above is preferably intended for the connection and guidance of sliding pieces with or on round rods or shafts. However, it can also be used in the same way for bars with any profile, e.g. those with a square cross-section can be used.
