Die Industrie hat vielfach brikettierte Braunkohle in Würfel oder ähnlicher regelmäßiger Körperform verwendet und dabei die Erfahrung gemacht, daß solche regelmäßige Körper auf dem Feuerrost zu viele Lücken lassen, den Rost nicht genügend bedecken, der Luft daher zu großen Zutritt gestatten und hierdurch eine unökonomische Verbrennung verursachen. Man hat dadurch abzuhelfen gesucht, daß man die Würfel z.
