Patentanspruch:Claim:
Device for measuring the static pressure of gases, i.e. the gas pressure to be determined is converted into an electrical measured variable, equipped with a propeller or a similar turbulence-generating rotary body that can be driven by an electric motor, as well as a known electrical measuring circuit by means of which the electric motor voltage or the electric current or the rotational frequency of the propeller can be measured, according to patent 1 473 411, characterized in that the rotating body consists of an impeller (P) that the cylindrical vessel in which the impeller (P) rotates coaxially on its inner cylinder wall has a number of ribs (R) or blades which are inclined at a certain angle against the radial direction, and that the distance between the inner circumference of the vessel ribs and the outer circumference of the impeller is kept as small as possible.
The invention relates to a device for measuring the static pressure of gases in which the

is, as well as a known electrical measuring circuit, by means of which the electrical motor voltage

of the main patent 1,473,411, the pressure in a gas is determined by the electrical
Measures data from an electric motor, on the shaft of which sits a propeller rotating in the gas.
The sensitivity of the measuring arrangement is no longer sufficient for low pressures.
The object of the present additional invention is to increase the sensitivity considerably
the measuring arrangement is based. The solution to this problem is characterized in the claim.
The following explanations: Normally the propeller rotates in a gas-filled one
Vessel, so that a flow equilibrium is achieved after a short time
adjusts in such a way that the gas mass moved by the propeller at some point from the rear
is brought back to the propeller, the rotation being supported by the current. Just

Propeller can be delivered later, but naturally it decreases more and more with decreasing pressure.

Rippen R bewirkt.ag tete impulse of the deflected gas flow must be overcome. Two exemplary embodiments of such an arrangement are shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 indicated. The deflection of the gas flow is effected by the ribs R attached to the inner wall of the vessel F.
B. in
Punkt4 (bzw.
In A b b. 1 shows two possible trajectories of a gas particle. In general there will be a circulation as shown in Fig. 1 by path 1-2-3-4 or in Fig. 2 by path 5-6-7-8 . Along this path, the particle experiences a change in momentum several times, in particular at points 2 and 3 or 6 and 7 in A b b. 2 and hits one of the next wing blades, e.g. B. in point 4 (or 8 in Fig. 2) with an impulse component perpendicular to the blade, which is directed opposite to the impulse of the blade.
