The Grignard or lithium reagent can be prepared by known methods. The Grignard reagent can be in a conventional solvent such as ether, tetrahydropyran, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran or tetrahydrofuran and the like, with tetrahydrofuran being preferred. The lithium reagent can also be prepared in conventional solvents. The the preferred solvent is ether; however, other solvents such as dibutyl ether, benzene, use. These solvents can also be present during the reaction.
Since the reaction is exothermic, the reactants should be added very slowly. They can also be combined with one another more quickly if the reaction vessel is cooled from the outside so that the temperature remains close to room temperature. When the addition is complete, the mixture is heated reflux for 15 to 60 minutes for the best yield. The solvent can be distilled off under reduced pressure.
The mixture is diluted with benzene and the excess of Grignard reagent is hydrolyzed. There the final product is soluble in benzene, this layer is separated and the product recovered from it.
Zur Herstellung des Hydrochlorides setzt man vorzugsweisegasförmigen Chlorwasserstoff zu einer Lösung des Endproduktes in einem Gemisch aus trockenem Alkohol und Äther zu.Further purification can be done by extraction with dilute acid, which is then done with alkali is neutralized. From this the product is obtained with a solvent such as benzene or hexane, which is then evaporated. The base of the product can be added by addition of the customary for this Acids used, such as hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, maleic acid, are converted into salts. For the production of the hydrochloride one uses preferably gaseous Hydrogen chloride to a solution of the final product in a mixture of dry Alcohol and ether too.
Für therapeutische Zwecke können die Verbindungen in den üblichen pharmazeutischen Formen,The compounds prepared according to the invention are suitable as antihistamines and for the treatment of Mental illnesses as they counteract depression and as mood-lifting agents or psychological Tonic agents also act as intermediates for the production of secondary amines some of which show pharmacological activity. For therapeutic purposes, the compounds in the usual pharmaceutical forms,
z. B. as powder, capsules, tablets, elixirs, solutions and aqueous suspensions. The daily dose ranges from about 5 to 250 mg and is preferably taken in divided doses throughout the day. Preferably the Compounds in the form of their acid addition salts, their production also in the frame the invention falls.

During the implementation is located in the Reaction vessel under a nitrogen atmosphere. A solution of 3.1 g (0.0279 mol) of 3-diethylaminopropyne-1 in 10 ml of absolute ether is added dropwise to the lithium phenyl solution in the course of 15 minutes. The reaction mixture is stirred for 1 hour at reflux temperature and then to room temperature ' left to cool.
Using the same procedure, one obtains from the various other 3-substituted aminopropines, in which R and R 'have the above meanings, the corresponding 3-substituted lithiumamino-1-propynyl compounds.
