Von den verschiedenen Möglichkeiten der Tintenbevorratung in Filzschreibern sei hier lediglich der Tintenvorratsfilz erwähnt, weil von ihm die Erfindung ausgeht. Unter einem Tintenvorratsfilz versteht man ein Fasermaterial, in welchem dank seiner Saugfähigkeit eine gewisse Menge von Flüssigkeit, nämlich Schreibflüssigkeit, wie z. B. Tinte, gespeichert werden kann. Tintenspeichernder und tiftienleitender Filz stehen in Berührung miteinander, so daß der tintenleiteiide Schreibfilz ständig aus dem tintenspeichernden Vorratsfilz Schreibflüssigkeit nachgeliefert bekommen kann, bis der Vorratsfilz efschöpft ist.So-called felt pens have been on the market for some time.
