Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Faltmaschine zum Einfalten der Werkstücke für die Wäschefabrikation und hat eine Blasevorrichtung zum Gegenstande, die dazu dient, das Werkstück, nachdem dessen Kanten umgefaltet sind, selbsttätig aus der Maschine zu bringen. Ferner ist ein Behälter angeordnet, der zur Aufnahme und Aufbewahrung der aufeinander folgenden Werkstücke dient, so daß diese bequem durch den Arbeiter ergriffen werden können. Es sind besondere Mittel vorgesehen, um den Luftstrom derart zu regeln, daß dieser genau zur richtigen Zeit wirkt.

Die Faltmaschine der vorliegenden Art hat eine zusammenlegbare Schablone a, Faltmesser b und einen Werkstücktisch c. Die Faltmesser b sind an den Messertragstangen b¹ angebracht und mit geeigneten Bewegungsvorrichtungen versehen, um sie einwärts zu bewegen und die Kanten des Werkstückes über den Rand der Schablone zu falten, wenn diese auf dem Werkstück ruht, das seinerseits auf dem Tische c liegt. Der Tisch c ist aus zwei Platten gebildet, die wagerecht gegeneinander oder voneinander verschiebbar sind. Diese Platten tragen das Werkstück, während dessen Kanten durch die Faltmesser b eingefaltet werden. Aber unmittelbar darauf werden sie auseinander bewegt, so daß der Preßtisch d in die Höhe gehoben werden kann, um die gefalteten Kanten des Werkstückes fest gegen die Unterfläche der Faltmesser zu drücken, die zu diesem Zweck in ihrer zusammengerückten Lage bleiben.This device can be attached to any type of folding machine.
