22,26 in Betätigungsstellung in Phantomzeichnung 2o dargestellt.
The invention relates to a hydraulically operated partly lined disc brake for motor vehicles, in which two brake levers pivoted on the brake carrier and acting on brake shoes by pivoting a double-armed operating lever, which is located on the side of the operating lever directly and on the side of the remote from the operating lever Brake disc lying brake lever is hinged by means of a tension spindle, can be pivoted against the brake disc. The subject matter of the invention is particularly important as the rear wheel brake of a motor vehicle. When a motor vehicle is braked, most of the wheel load is shifted to the front axle. The resulting relief of the rear wheel axle would result in an early locking of the rear wheels with the same brake application. In order to avoid this premature locking of the rear wheels, the application therefore proposes an arrangement or dimensioning of the actuating device which, depending on the shift of the braking load from the rear axle to the front axle, reduces the increase in braking force in the rear wheel brakes. In this way, a pressure reducer or pressure relief valve in the hydraulic brake system for the rear brakes is to be saved Actuating device on the double-armed actuating lever and the joint of the actuating lever in the release position almost forms a straight angle and approximately a right angle when the brake shoes are applied. In the drawing, FIGS. 1 and 2 show embodiments of the two mentioned possible embodiments of the invention. In the figures, the brake disc with 1, the brake shoes with 2, the inner caliper lever, which is on the inboard side of the vehicle, with 3 , the other caliper lever, which is on the outboard side, i.e. in the wheel dish of the vehicle, with 4, the operating lever with 5 , the brake carrier is marked with 6 and the fastening tabs for the two caliper levers 3 and 4 are marked with 7. The pincer levers 3 and 4 are hinged at 8 on the tabs 7. The adjusting device consists of the pull rod 9 and a device 1o of any type which is suitable for shortening the brake linkage by rotating it relative to the pull rod 9 in accordance with the wear of the brake beacons 2. The pull rod 9 is articulated at 11 on the outer caliper lever 4. The device 1o has a cradle pin 12 which is mounted in the pivot point of the double-armed actuating lever 5. At 13 the actuating lever 5 has a joint joint with the inner caliper lever 3, and at 14 a joint swivel joint with a cradle pin of the cylinder 15 of the hydraulic actuating device. The piston 16 of the hydraulic actuator; 15, 16 is supported with a closed fork 17 in a common swivel joint 18 with the inner caliper lever 3. The working position of the hydraulic actuating cylinder is shown in phantom at 19, where the piston stroke has the size of the distance X. The size of the effective lever arm on which the actuating cylinder engages in the release position is denoted by d1, its size in the braking position by d2. It can be seen from the drawing that d2 is greater than d1. The brake according to Fig. 2 differs from that according to Fig. 1 in the design and arrangement of the actuating cylinder 22,26. Here too, the actuating cylinder 22, 26 is shown in the actuating position in phantom drawing 2o. The fork 21 of the piston 22 has an apron 23 with an elongated hole 24 in which the pin 25 of the cylinder housing 26 is guided. In this brake, the effective lever arm on which the actuating cylinder 22, 26 engages is marked with e1 for the release position and e2 for the braking position. It should be noted that e1 is greater than e2.
