Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
Die lichtempfindliehe Schicht wird hierbei ohne Berücksichtigung des klaren Durchscheinens von Farbe und Glanz des darunter befindlichen Metalls und nur zur Erzielung ihrer möglichst großen Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen die angreifenden ChemikalienThe use of a photosensitive layer as an etching base for the production of Patterns on metal objects or from cliches is known per se. The light-sensitive Layer is here without taking into account the clear shine through of color and shine of the metal underneath and only to achieve their greatest possible resistance against the attacking chemicals
ίο eingebrannt.ίο branded.
The aim of the new method is to use a suitable photosensitive Mass (consisting of chromed glue, albumin or a similar substance) the to burn in the pattern obtained in such a way, d. H. by more or less strong warming to harden that the metal underneath remains unchanged in its appearance or at least only shines through changed to the extent that it corresponds to a desired shade of the metal color. To produce this transparent, baked-on top layer, the solution must be kept in such a consistency that the layer neither becomes too thick, otherwise you cannot bake in transparent colorless, nor too thin, otherwise the baked-in transparent layer would not be resistant to the attacking chemicals able to perform. After exposure and development it is carefully heated for as long as until the layer after the disappearance of applied aniline paint has the desired appearance Has. This type of burn-in aims to produce clear and transparent burn-in To be able to leave the etching base on the latter even after the metal object has been completed to protect against oxidation.
In the patent 5204 a method is already described by which metal plates to enable etching, pickling, etc. initially a lacquer coating and then for Production of the pattern obtained a photosensitive layer, which, however, is not baked will. This photosensitive layer would therefore not be used alone as an etching base because it is only through baking that the impermeability to acids etc. is achieved. That is why the previous varnish base, which in this case is only used alone Protection granted against aggressive chemicals ^ required. The present procedure uses on the other hand, while avoiding the lacquer coating, only a light-sensitive layer, which, because baked in, is capable of adding caustic liquids, stains, etc. to it without any further auxiliary means resist. Furthermore, the photosensitive layer mentioned in patent specification 5204, which is no longer removed, absolutely no protection against oxidation, because the same because it is not branded, nor has the ability to soak up water and is spongy to become.
