In der chemischen Industrie verwendet man in neuerer Zeit anstatt einfacher Bleirohre sogenannte Verbundrohre, das sind Rohre aus Hartmetall mit einer Ummantelung und Ausfütterung von Weichmetall (z. B. Blei) oder nur einer von beiden; diese Verbundrohre haben einerseits die gute Eigenschaft der einfachen Bleirohre, nämlich die Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen chemische Einflüsse, und den Vorteil, daß sie nicht, wie jene, beim Gebrauch durch äußere mechanische Einflüsse plattgedrückt werden, andererseits aber den Nachteil, daß bei ihrer Erwärmung das Blei infolge seines größeren Ausdehnungskoeffizienten sich mehr ausdehnt als das Hartmetall, wodurch die ursprüngliche Verbindung von Blei und Hartmetall zerstört wird. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist nun ein Verbundrohr, welches diesen Nachteil der bekannten Verbundrohre nicht besitzt; bei demselben stehen nämlich, wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich ist, die Ummantelung α und die Ausfütterung b durch zahlreiche kleine Löcher des Kernrohres c miteinander in Verbindung, wodurch ein besseres Anliegen und Zusammenhalten der verschiedenen Metallteile erreicht wird.In the chemical industry, so-called composite pipes have recently been used instead of simple lead pipes, these are pipes made of hard metal with a jacket and lining of soft metal (e.g. lead) or just one of both; These composite pipes have on the one hand the good property of the simple lead pipes, namely the resistance to chemical influences, and the advantage that they are not, like those, flattened during use by external mechanical influences, but on the other hand the disadvantage that when they are heated the lead as a result its greater coefficient of expansion expands more than the hard metal, which destroys the original bond between lead and hard metal.
