In peuerer Zeit bedient sich die Heilkunde in immer ausgedehnterem Mafse sowohl der Vibration als auch der Massage in der Erwägung, dadurch einen lebhafteren Blutumlauf im kranken Körpertheil zu bewirken, wodurch ein stärkerer Stoffwechsel und damit ein Heilerfolg erreicht werden kann. Die für Vibration im Gebrauch befindlichen Apparate, z.B. der nach der Patentschrift 99209 gebaute, bewirken nur eine Erschütterung mit beschränkter Massagewirkung und bearbeiten aufserdem keine gröfsere Fläche, sondern nur eine kleine Stelle. Die nachfolgend beschriebene Vorrichtung weist demgegenüber als neu zugleich eine Vibrationsund Massagewirkung auf und bearbeitet selbstthätig einen gröfseren Kreis, nicht aber eine einzelne Stelle.In times of ruin, medicine makes ever more extensive use of both Vibration as well as massage whereas this creates a brisker circulation of blood to effect in the sick part of the body, whereby a stronger metabolism and thus a healing success can be reached. In dem Wagen sind drei Klöppel k elastisch angeordnet, die die Streben g als Mitnehmer auf sich wirken lassen. Mit dieser beschriebenen Getriebevorrichtung ist durch die Bügel s eine Trommel T verbunden, die am Boden mit einer dünnen Membran aus Leder, Schweinsblase oder dergl. bespannt ist.It means H the handle for handling the device.
