Auf den Wangen eines Holzgestelles A A sind Schienen gelagert, diese haben den Zweck, einen Tisch T, welcher auf vier Rollen ruht, aufzunehmen und bei seiner hin- und hergehenden Bewegung zu führen.Rails are mounted on the cheeks of a wooden frame AA , the purpose of which is to accommodate a table T, which rests on four rollers, and to guide it during its to-and-fro movement.

Die Tischfläche von T ist mit halbrunden, quer zur Tischlänge laufenden Holzwellen ausgerüstet, rechts und links bei d und e an den Enden sind schräg liegende glatte Flächen angebracht, um Wäschetheile, namentlich Plätthemden nicht ganz auf den Tisch bringen zu müssen. Ueber der Tischplatte T ist eine bei 6?.//gelagerte, mit gleichen Wellungen wie die Tischplatte versehene hölzerne Walze W angeordnet, welche durch die Gewichte G G auf die Platte gedruckt wird.This movement takes place in the direction of rotation to one and the same side by means of the flywheel R, gear reduction abc, Fig. 2, and rack Z.
