Vorliegender Apparat besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Behälter α von Kugelgestalt, der mit comprimirter Luft gefüllt und dann durch einen Hahn b verschlossen wird. Dieser Hahn wird nun durch näher zu beschreibende Vorrichtungen bei ausbrechendem Feuer oder bei Einbruch d. h. bei Oeffnen der Thüren oder Fenster wieder geöffnet, die ausströmende comprimirte Luft läfst eine Pfeife ertönen, während ein Uhrwerk ausgelöst wird, welches einen Hammer andauernd an eine Alarmglocke schlägt.
