Die den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildende Vorrichtung dient dazu, Gerbbrühen und dergl. von den beigemengten mechanischen Verunreinigungen zu befreien. Die oberste Klappe wird, da in dieser Höhe die Flüssigkeit schon ziemlich abgesetzt ist, stets zum Theil geöffnet, so dafs die Flüssigkeit in die zweite Abtheilung gelangt, indem sie ebenfalls an der Wand hinabfliefst.
