Description
Nach dem vorliegenden Verfahren sollen doppelt konische Bohrungen in Verbindungsmuffen u. dergl. in einem Arbeitsgang hergestellt werden. Das in schräger Richtung zum Werkstück bewegliche Werkzeug ist zu diesem Zweck ebenfalls doppelt oder zweischneidig ausgebildet, so dafs beim Durchgang des Werkzeuges durch das Werkstück mit der einen Schneide zuerst der vordere Konus und dann mit der zweiten der ersten am besten gegenüberliegenden Schneide der hintere Konus durchgebohrt wird. Vortheilhaft wird zur Ausführung dieses Verfahrens eine Drehbank benutzt, bei welcher in bekannter Weise nicht der das Werkzeug tragende Support, sondern der Spindelstock mit dem Werkstück schräg zur Drehbankachse eingestellt werden kann. Der Punkt, um welchen sich der Spindelstock dreht, liegt dann in der Ebene, in welcher die beiden auszubohrenden Kegel zusammentreffen. Macht man an Stelle des Spindelstockes den Support drehbar, so sind natürlich doppelt konische Bohrungen ebenfalls herzustellen, jedoch ist es in diesem Falle schwierig, die Trennungslinie genau an der gewünschten Stelle zu erhalten.
