Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Waschmaschinen derjenigen Art, bei welchen ein in beliebiger Weise anzutreibendes Stabkreuz in einem Waschbottich gelagert ist. Das Neue besteht darin, dafs das die Waschstäbe tragende Kreuz, an dessen Stelle auch ein Stern mit beliebig vielen Armen treten kann, derartig rnehrtheilig ist, dafs eine Zerlegung jederzeit durch einen einfachen Handgriff erfolgen kann. Besteht die die Stäbe tragende Vorrichtung z. B. aus einem Kreuz, so wird ein Doppelarm mit zwei oder mehreren Waschstäben fest mit der Antriebswelle verbunden. Der zweite, die übrigen Stäbe tragende Doppelarm des Kreuzes ist so eingerichtet, dafs er z. B. durch einfaches Ueberhängen über den an der Antriebswelle festsitzenden Arm mit letzterem verbunden oder gekuppelt werden kann. Sind die zur Einfüllung oder Aufnahme der zu bearbeitenden Wäsche zwischen den Stäben oder den Armen des vollständigen Kreuzes oder Sternes verbleibenden Räume grofs genug für eine bestimmte Gröfse von Wäschestücken, so können durch Fortnahme eines Kreuzquerarmes oder eines Theiles des Sternes mit Leichtigkeit im Waschbottich entsprechend gröfsere Räume geschaffen werden, um entsprechend grofse Wäschestücke in die Maschine bringen und in ihr bearbeiten zu können.The invention relates to washing machines of the type in which an in Any way to be driven rod cross is stored in a wash tub.
