Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf solche Schlösser, bei denen auf der Rückseite ein federnder Bügel angebracht ist, der durch Sperrstifte den bezw. die Schlofsriegel oder deren Schaltstücke oder beide zusammen so lange gesperrt hält, bis er, beim Einstecken des Schlüssels zurückgedrängt, die gesperrten Stücke freigiebt. Von bekannten Einrichtungen ähnlicher Art, die alle lediglich auf einseitig zu schliefsende Schlösser Anwendung fanden, unterscheidet sich die vorliegende Construction dadurch, dafs der Bügel so eingerichtet ist, dafs der Schlüssel auch von der Rückseite her in das durchgehende Schlüsselloch eingeführt und das Schlofs als zweiseitig schliefsbares verwendet werden kann. Zu dem Zwecke ist der die Sperrung der Riegel bewirkende und mittels eines Sperrbartes in einem entsprechend gestalteten Ausschnitt des Riegelzahnrades eingreifende federnde Bügel leicht abnehmbar auf der Rückseite des Schlofskastens befestigt.
