Trocknungsofen, z. B. Lacktrocknungsofen, umgewälzte Trocknungsluft mit in deren
Kreislauf liegendem rohrförmigem Wärmetauscher.Heating for the circulated in an explosion-proof drying oven
Drying air The invention relates to a heater for those in an explosion-protected area
Drying oven, e.g. B. paint drying oven, circulated drying air with in their
Circular tubular heat exchanger.
When building and operating heated drying ovens in which during
During the drying process, explosive gas mixtures can arise, are certain safety precautions
hold true. To avoid deflagrations or explosions are generally available
two possible solutions are available.
angeordnet. One solution is the formation of an ignitable gas mixture
avoided inside the drying oven that the circulated air is sufficient
large proportion of fresh air is added, so that the resulting in the drying oven
Ggs-air mixture kept safely below the lower explosion limit
will. Such a mode of operation of a heatable drying oven is naturally necessary
a relatively high expenditure of energy. Is known an electrically heated,
Explosion-proof drying oven that complies with the protection class described above
the external ventilation is operated exclusively with fresh air. In the fresh air supply
this known drying oven are heat exchangers in the form of electrical heating elements
arranged.
Ergebnis steht. In the second approach one avoids that on the heat exchangers such
high temperatures can arise which are close to or even above the ignition temperature
the explosive gas mixture that forms during the drying process.
When using electrical heating elements as heat exchangers, this is a requirement
not with complete certainty, or if so, then only with such a high level of technicality
Effort to meet that this is in no reasonable relation to the achieved
Result stands.
So you already have the object on which the invention is based, namely
Local overheating of the circuit in the case of an explosion-proof drying oven
to avoid parts lying in the drying air
Has used liquid for indirect heat transfer. Here are electrical
Resistance heating elements within one of a highly heat-resistant liquid
arranged through the pipe system. The pipe system is available with an expansion tank
for the liquid and with a gas or air connected to it,
in connection with a pressure equalization tank provided with a safety valve. the
drying air to be heated washes around the pipe system containing the liquid
and so does not come into direct contact with the electrical heating elements.
However, this known heater for explosion-proof drying ovens has
the disadvantage that if the safety valve on the pressure equalization boiler fails
Overheating of the liquid above a predetermined ignition temperature of the circulated
Drying air is possible.
The invention solves the problem mentioned by a heater for the
in an explosion-proof drying oven, e.g. B. paint drying oven, circulated
Drying air with a tubular heat exchanger in its circuit as a result,
that the heat exchanger penetrates the wall of the drying oven and outside it
with its pipe ends filled with a vaporizable liquid as a heat transfer medium
immersed in a heatable heating fluid, the evaporation temperature of which is lower
is the ignition temperature of the gas mixture produced during drying in the oven.
The heatable liquid can, for example, consist of a chemically uniform substance,
consist of a solution or a mixture. Instead of a pipe, it goes without saying
a tube bundle can also be used. There is an essential feature of the invention
So in the fact that the ends of the tubes outside of the drying oven in a heatable
Immerse heating fluid, the evaporation temperature of which is lower at atmospheric pressure
is than the ignition temperature of that which arises inside the oven during drying
Gas mixture. By using a heating fluid with a so defined
Evaporation temperature, in which the heat exchanger tubes outside the drying oven
immersion, it is ensured in a simple and absolutely safe way that the in
the drying oven protruding parts of the
tubular heat exchanger
can never assume a temperature above the ignition temperature of the circulated
Gas mixture lies. Even in the event of complete failure of all possibly provided
Control organs can control the temperature of the heating fluid and thus the heat transfer medium
The vaporizable liquid filled in the tubes never exceeds the vaporizing temperature
the heating fluid increase at atmospheric pressure, because with continued excessive
Heat supply evaporates the heating fluid at atmospheric pressure. As vaporizable
Liquid with which the tubular heat exchangers are partially filled is suitable
for example water. As a heatable heating fluid into which the pipe ends
immersing the heat exchanger outside of the drying oven are suitable, for example
halogenated hydrocarbons, methylnaphthalene, potassium acetate solution, toluene and
Water. According to the ignition temperature of the gas mixture inside the drying oven
an appropriate heating fluid must be selected; it is only necessary to ensure that
the evaporation temperature of the heating fluid is lower than the ignition temperature
of the gas mixture.
An Hand der Figur wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines Trocknungsofens
mit erfindungsgemäßer Heizung beschrieben. An exemplary embodiment of a drying oven is shown on the basis of the figure
described with heating according to the invention.
One ends 3 of tubes protrude into the heating channel 1 of the drying oven 2. These pipe ends are preferably inclined slightly upwards from the horizontal. The ends 4 of these tubes, which are located outside the drying oven 2, are immersed in a container 5 which is at least partially open to the atmosphere and which is filled with a heatable heating fluid 6. For heating the heating fluid 6, explosion-proof, preferably electrical heating elements 7 are provided. The tubular heat exchangers are partially filled with an evaporable liquid 8. Heat is transferred from the heatable heating fluid 6 to the vaporizable fluid 8, which vaporizes until a saturation pressure has been set in the pipes which corresponds to the respective temperature of the heating fluid 6. At the ends 3 protruding into the heating channel 1, heat is extracted from the steam located in the tube. This extraction of heat can still be promoted by it. that a fan 9 is provided, which causes a circulation of the air in the drying oven. As a result of the extraction of heat, the steam in the pipes condenses and the condensate flows back into the pipe parts 4 immersed in the heating fluid 6 and is evaporated again there. For temperature monitoring, a conventional temperature controller 10 is provided in the drying oven, which regulates the energy supply to the heating elements 7. As an additional safety measure, a switching device 11, for example a dry contactor, can be provided which switches off the energy supply to the radiators 7 in the event of excessive evaporation and the resulting lowering of the heating fluid 6 level. The evaporation portion of the heating liquid 6 can be passed, for example, via a line 12 into a cooler 13, in which the steam condenses. The condensate is then returned to the container 5 via the line 14.
