Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren, die Luftgeschwindigkeit in dem Kamin einer Kühlanlage zu vergröfsern, um hierdurch eine schnellere und bessere Wirkung des Kaminkühlers zu sichern. Das Verfahren besteht darin, dafs das durch den Kaminkühler abgekühlte Wasser zu einem in der Nähe angeordneten Gas-, Dampf- oder Berieselungscondensator geleitet wird und der letztere bezw. der Raum, in welchem der Condensator untergebracht ist, hierbei derart mit dem Kamin in Verbindung gebracht wird, dafs die sich entwickelnden Schwaden und heifsen Dämpfe in den Kamin abgeführt werden, wodurch in dem letzteren die Luftgeschwindigkeit vergröfsert wird.The present invention relates to a method, the air velocity in the To enlarge the chimney of a cooling system in order to achieve a faster and better effect of the chimney cooler. Die ganze Kühlanlage ist hierbei in eine solche Höhe neben dem Berieselungscondensator gebracht, dafs das aus den Auffangtrögen kommende Wasser unmittelbar den Condensator berieseln kann und ein besonderes Aufpumpen des Wassers auf den Condensator vermieden wird. Die sich beim Kühlen des Condensators entwickelnden Schwaden werden sofort dem zur Abführung des Wasserdunstes und zur Beförderung des Luftzuges dienenden Kamin i oberhalb der eigentlichen Berieselungsvorrichtung zugeführt, so dafs sie infolge der darin enthaltenen, im Kamin aufsteigenden Wärme zur Beförderung des Luftzuges beitragen, ohne aber die Kühlarbeit zu beeinträchtigen.
