Wind protection device on a microphone The invention relates to a
Wind protection device on a microphone with a single or multi-walled perforated
Cover, which the microphone at least in the area of its sound inlet opening
or surrounds sound inlet openings and preferably a smooth outer surface
Has.
Mit solchen Windschutzvorrichtungen ist es möglich, Windgeräusche
herabzusetzen.
With such wind protection devices it is possible to detect wind noise
to belittle. It is known to apply the principle of B e r n o u 11 i,
to get a steady flow of air to which the microphone does not respond.
selbst). In practice, the wind noise can only be reduced, but not
be completely suppressed. The invention assumes that the remaining wind noise
not only as airborne noise, but also as structure-borne noise, which is caused by the effect
the wind has formed on the wind protection device, reaches the microphone,
which is why it is proposed according to the invention that the shell by one or more structure-borne noise
to attach insulating spacers to the microphone. Because such spacers
act attenuating, they not only lead to a structure-borne sound insulation of the microphone
compared to the windbreak cover, but they also dampen structure-borne sound vibrations
the shell and its fastening means (and also structure-borne sound vibrations of the microphone housing
self).
