z. B. Brennstoffpumpe.Gas turbine engine The invention relates to a power plant
consisting of a gas turbine engine, a power consumer and an intermediary
hydrostatic transmission and an auxiliary shaft to drive the auxiliary units,
z. B. fuel pump.
Drive systems for motor vehicles have already become known,
in which a gas turbine with compressor, a hydraulic pump and an electric starter
are arranged on a common shaft, the hydraulic pump several vehicle wheels
driving hydraulic motors acted upon. With gas turbine engines, however, there is the
Drive and the arrangement of the necessary auxiliary equipment, such as
the fuel pump poses particular problems. Among other things, it is necessary
the relatively high turbine speed due to the interposition of a gear train
to be reduced so far that the required for the auxiliary equipment is much lower
Speed is available. Such gear drives are relatively prone to failure,
require more space and require constant maintenance. It is
however, the auxiliaries of gas turbine engines are known to be non-mechanical
To drive ways and to use a non-flowable pressure medium (fluid) for this.
Since in a gas turbine system of the type mentioned in the introduction anyway
such a fluid is present (fluid of the hydrostatic transmission),
is based on the task or the idea, the transmission fluid
to be used to drive the auxiliary units. The invention as such does not exist
in the mentioned idea itself, but in a particularly expedient solution
the task, which is that the pump flow of the hydrostatic
Transmission (in a known manner) is divided, with one part
Fluid motor flows in, which the auxiliary units, z. B. fuel pump, drives,
while the other part is fed to the engine, which the driven machine (power consumer)
drives. Preferably, the pump flow of the hydrostatic transmission is through a
Flow divider valve divided, with one in front of the engine of the hydrostatic transmission
Pressure sensor is switched on, with the pressure of which a fuel regulator is controlled.
In a preferred embodiment, there is a bypass flow regulator in the delivery line of the pump
switched on, the secondary flow of which is fed to the drive motor of the fuel pump
will.
Die Erfindung läßt die verschiedensten Ausführungsmöglichkeiten zu;
eine davon ist in der Zeichnung wiedergegeben.The invention allows a wide variety of possible embodiments;
one of them is shown in the drawing.
8. The gas turbine engine consists of the compressor 1, the combustion chamber 2 and the turbine 3. The hydraulic device includes a hydraulic pump 4 with a constant displacement volume, a flow divider 5, a hydraulic motor 6 for driving the auxiliary shaft 10, a directional valve 7 and a load that can be connected to it one or more hydraulic motors 8.
Die Hilfswelle 10 treibt die Brennstoffpumpe 9 an. 12
ist der Brennstoffregler, der vom Druckfühler 11
her gesteuert wird. The auxiliary shaft 10 drives the fuel pump 9 . 12 is the fuel regulator, which is controlled by the pressure sensor 11.
Der Hydraulik-Hauptstrom ist mit 13, der Hydraulik-Nebenstrom
mit 14 gekennzeichnet. The main hydraulic flow is marked with 13, the secondary hydraulic flow with 14.
The directional control valve 7 is used to control the hydraulic part of the power plant and is arranged on the operator's platform for this purpose. If the hydraulic motor 8 is to be switched on, the hydraulic main flow 13 is switched to the hydraulic motor 8 by actuating the directional control valve 7. At the same time, the pressure sensor 11 is acted upon so that it can give a corresponding control pulse to the fuel regulator. If the directional control valve 7 is brought into another switching position, the entire main hydraulic flow 13 flows back directly to the hydraulic pump 4. The useful flow coming from the pump 4 passes the flow divider 5. Here, a relatively small secondary flow 14 is branched off and fed to the small hydraulic motor of constant displacement 6. This drives the auxiliary shaft 10 of the gas turbine, on which the fuel pump 9, speed controller and other auxiliary devices have an output. In known systems, this auxiliary shaft is mechanically branched off after the reduction gear. The devices 4, 5 and 6 in the described embodiment (each ensure synchronous reduced running of the auxiliary shaft regardless of the load on the consumer according to pressure and quantity. In the embodiment, the ratio of the speeds of the shaft of the pump 4 to those of the auxiliary shaft 10 is constant. The load pressure acts on the fuel regulator 12 via a separate pressure sensor 11. This switching is required above all if the auxiliary shaft 10 drives auxiliary units other than the fuel pump 9 .
