Description
Pulse generator for the generation of time-staggered pulses for patent: 1246 803 In telecommunications systems, pulse generators are used in many cases required, which are offset against each other in time at separate outputs Generate impulses.
The main patent relates to such a pulse generator for generation of temporally staggered impulses, each of which occurs at its own output, where ferromagnetic cores with a rectangular hysteresis loop are used, which after switching on applied to them, connected to one another in series Coils are remagnetized one after the other to a supply voltage source. This Pulse generator is based on the principle that the coils of each ferromagnetic Cores together with capacitors one made up of mutually identical quadrupoles with each a series inductance and a transverse capacitance form an existing chain circuit, in which in each case the sequential reloading of the in the individual Cross-flow branches arranged capacitors cause currents through all in the derailleur preceding coils flow and in each case the one in question Capacitor remagnetize the immediately preceding ferromagnetic core, the generate temporally staggered impulses.
The invention aims at an advantageous embodiment of the object of the main patent; it consists in that in a pulse generator according to the main patent (German Patent 1246 803) during the reloading of the individual capacitors occurring current surges are exploited as time-shifted impulses in the cross-flow branches in each of which a pair of output terminals connected to a consumer of the pulse generator is inserted.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the figures.
In Fig. 1 shows a pulse generator which, according to FIG Invention is constructed. It contains a chain connection of four-pole each with a series inductance L and a transverse capacitance C. The coils L are each on applied to a core K with a rectangular hysteresis loop. In each of the respectively A pair of output terminals A is connected to a cross-flow branches containing a capacitor C of the pulse generator. In the unloaded state, the two output terminals are one such pair of terminals connected to one another with low resistance; on to an output A. of the pulse generator connected consumer V is between the relevant Output terminals inserted. The chain connection of the four-pole reactance is on the input side connected to a DC voltage source via a changeover contact u.
To explain the mode of operation of the in F i g. 1 according to the invention shown Pulse generator is assumed that in a preparatory process by the connection the supply voltage source in the in F i g. 1 the way shown the capacitors C have been charged accordingly, with one such during the charging process Current has flowed through the coils L that the ferromagnetic cores K in the negative magnetic saturation range and now, d. i.e. after no Charging current flows through the capacitors more, in the negative magnetic state Remanence persist.
The pulse generator is now activated by switching the contact u, through which a supply voltage is opposite to the preparation voltage Polarity is connected to the chain circuit of the individual four-pole terminals, left on. This reversal of polarity causes a gradual charge reversal in the individual capacitors C after itself. The sequential reloading of the in the individual Cross-flow branches arranged capacitors C causing currents flow through it all of the preceding coils L and in the derailleur cause each a transfer of the ferromagnetic core immediately preceding the respective capacitor C K from the state of negative remanence to the positive state of saturation. While the time the magnetization reversal of the ferromagnetic core K has the coil L as a result the high permeability of the Core material has a relatively high inductive value Resistance. Despite the relatively low capacitive resistance of the following Cross-capacitor C therefore flows in the cross-flow branch during the remagnetization process only a very small current. However, after the ferromagnetic core K in the positive magnetic saturation is reached, the permeability of the core material go and thus the inductive resistance of the coil L back to a very small value. This has the consequence that the charging is now carried out in the subsequent cross-flow branch the arranged there capacitor C causing current surge occurs as one of the time-shifted pulses at the associated pair of output terminals A. can be.
After the occurrence of this pulse, i. after the one in question The capacitor C arranged cross-flow branch is charged, is now at the input of the subsequent quadrupole of the chain circuit to such a voltage that a Magnetization reversal of the ferromagnetic core of the longitudinal inductance of this subsequent one Quadrupole begins. The processes described are repeated with this quadrupole and then also with the other four-pole connections of the chain connection, so that one after the other the capacitors arranged in the individual cross-flow branches are suddenly reloaded and thus the recharging current surges at the output terminal pair A as temporal mutually offset impulses occur.
After a full run of the chain, the ferromagnetic Cores K and capacitors C are returned to their original state, what by switching on a preparation voltage polarized opposite to the operating voltage is effected. For this purpose, the circuit arrangement according to Fi g. 1 only the contact u returned to its rest position. If one wants to avoid that even during the resetting, of the four-pole chain at the outputs A of the pulse generator pulses can occur connected in parallel to the output terminals of the individual terminal pairs which are generated for the recharging of the individual capacitors Impulses that have a polarity opposite to the original impulses, each represent a very low resistance and therefore those between the output terminals short-circuit inserted loads for these pulses. In Fig. 1 is the arrangement such a directional guide not shown; Rather, this will be explained in more detail below illustrated F i g. 3 shown.
In the case of the above with reference to Fi g. 1 described according to the invention Pulse generator occurs with each pass at each of its outputs one of the timed staggered impulses. However, it may be appropriate that the delivery of such time-shifted pulses at the individual outputs of a pulse generator can be controlled arbitrarily, d. that is, the time-shifted pulses are not occur at all outputs, but only at one or more specific outputs. For such an arbitrary control of the impulse output at the individual outputs can now according to a further invention to each of the outputs of the pulse generator an input one with its other input to a control input and with his Output connected to a controllable pulse output of connected coincidence gate be.
Die zeitlich versetzten Impulse treten also nur an bestimmten Ausgängen des Impulsgenerators IG' auf.F i g. 2 shows the basic structure of such a pulse generator according to a further invention. In the one shown in FIG. The block diagram shown in FIG. 2 is the original pulse generator according to the invention for generating time-shifted pulses, as shown in FIG. 1, designated IG; it has the outputs A, which here are the output terminal pairs A of the pulse generator according to FIG. 1 symbolize. One input of a coincidence gate G is connected to each of these outputs A. The other input of the coincidence gate G, the output of which leads to a controllable pulse output A 'of the pulse generator IG' according to a further invention, is connected to a control input E of the pulse generator IG ' . The temporally offset pulses generated at the outputs A of the pulse generator IG are fed to the coincidence gates G; They can only cause pulses to occur at the associated controllable pulse outputs A 'of the pulse generator IG' if a certain criterion occurs at the control input E of the associated coincidence gate G, which the coincidence gate can transmit when the pulse emitted by the pulse generator IG arrives power. The time-shifted pulses therefore only occur at certain outputs of the pulse generator IG ' .
If necessary, it can also be expedient to only emit a pulse at the controllable pulse output of the first coincidence gate provided with a certain criterion at its control input at each pass of the pulse generator IG. According to a further invention, this can be achieved in that, after the output of this pulse, the output of further pulses at the controllable pulse outputs of all the following coincidence gates in the direction of passage of the pulse generator is prevented. Such a circuit arrangement can be used as a search selector to select the first device in the call state or idle state from a larger number of facilities in which the call and idle state or the idle and occupied state are distributed in any way. The specific criterion occurring at a control input characterizes the call or free status of the device individually assigned to this control input; the selected facility is marked by the delivery of one pulse. Details of the further invention are given below with reference to the in F i g. 3 illustrated advantageous embodiment for such a pulse generator.
In the one shown in FIG. 3, the coincidence gates G (according to FIG. 2) are each formed by the internal resistance Ri of the inventive pulse generator IG (according to FIG. 2) and a switch e arranged parallel to the terminals of the controllable pulse output A ' . Relays R are inserted between the terminals of the controllable pulse outputs A 'as consumers. A directional conductor R1 is connected in parallel to the pairs of terminals of the outputs A of the pulse generator according to the invention. The switch e of a stage of the pulse generator according to a further invention, which can be implemented, for example, by a mechanical contact, short-circuits the associated controllable pulse output A 'in the idle state, so that the delivery of one of the time-shifted pulses to the pulse output A' connected to this controllable pulse output Consumer R is prevented. If, on the other hand, a device individually assigned to the relevant stage of the pulse generator, which is shown in FIG. 3 is not specifically shown, but which may contain the relay R connected to the controllable pulse output A ', for example in the call state, the associated switch e is open. The control input of the relevant coincidence gate is thus provided with the specific criterion. When one of the time-shifted pulses arrives at the output A of the pulse generator according to the invention, the coincidence gate is therefore capable of transmission, so that the pulse also occurs at the controllable pulse output A '. This pulse therefore also reaches the consumer inserted between the two terminals of this controllable pulse output A ', namely the relay R.
The pulse generator according to FIG. 3 works in such a way that after switching on the operating voltage to the four-pole chain by switching the contact u the individual shunt capacitors C one after the other in the manner already described are recharged, the recharging current surges occurring in the cross-flow branches in the consumer relay R inserted in a cross-flow branch for so long cannot cause a current pulse when the associated switch e is closed is.
On the other hand, at the controllable pulse output A 'of the first stage in the flow direction of the pulse generator, which is assigned a device which is in the call or idle state and in which the switch e is open, one of the time-shifted pulses occurs, since this is caused by the Internal resistance Ri and the switch e formed coincidence gate for the pulse occurring at the output A of the pulse generator IG according to the invention (according to FIG. 2) can be transmitted. After this one pulse has been output to the controllable pulse output A 'of the first coincidence gate G in the direction of flow of the pulse generator and provided with a certain criterion at its control input E, further pulses are now output to the controllable pulse outputs A' of all of the following coincidence gates in the direction of flow of the pulse generator IG G prevented. In the case of the one shown in FIG. 3 illustrated pulse generator IG ' (according to FIG. 2) according to a further invention, this prevention of the delivery of further pulses is achieved in that parallel to the consumers R, which are decoupled by directional conductor D and looped between the output terminals A' of the pulse generator IG ', a coil WS is arranged with a ferromagnetic core KS with a pronounced hysteresis loop. This core KS, which may initially be in its negative magnetic remanence state, is remagnetized when the one pulse is emitted; the coil WS then bridges all controllable pulse outputs A 'of the pulse generator IG', so that no more pulses can occur at the other controllable pulse outputs A 'even when the associated switch e is open. The time span in which the magnetization reversal of the ferromagnetic core KS takes place and in which the coil WS therefore has a relatively high inductive resistance must be greater than the response time span of the relay R acting as a consumer to which the one pulse is being fed. On the other hand, the period of time required for the remagnetization of the core KS must be shorter than the period of time between the two of the time-shifted pulses coming into effect at two successive outputs A of the pulse generator. Before the next of the time-shifted pulses occurs at the following output A, the remagnetization of the ferromagnetic core KS must be completed, so that the permeability of the core material and thus the inductive resistance of the coil WS decrease to such a small value that the controllable pulse outputs A. 'of the pulse generator can be bridged by the coil WS.
After doing this, the response development of the consumer as well Serving relay R is bridged, which just the one pulse is fed, must If necessary, a special self-holding circuit can be provided for the relay. This is in FIG. 3 not specifically shown.
To in the pulse generator according to FIG. 3 to be able to restore the initial state, is on the ferromagnetic core KS of the in F i g. 3, a further coil WL is applied to the pulse generator shown, through which a current flows when a delete key TL is closed, which causes the magnetization of the ferromagnetic core KS to be re-magnetized.
