Da als wirksame Länge dieses Kraftarmes der wagerechte Abstand zwischen den Scharnierstiften m und g zu gelten hat, die entsprechende Länge des unteren Gelenkgliedes e aber kürzer ist, so folgt, dafs die Federn, falls ihre Spannkraft nur so weit reicht, um die Schachtel mit Deckel in die hochgeklappte Lage zu bringen, infolge der Differenz in den Hebelarmlängen nicht im Stande sind, ohne äufsere Hülfe die Gelenke in der Tiefstlage anzuheben und die Schachtel von selbst zur Unzeit aufzuklappen.
