Der Gegenstand der Erfindung besteht in einer Schornsteinthür mit Rufskasten, Einlauftrichter, Abschlufsschieber und Schutzrost, welche sich gegenüber den bisherigen Anordnungen ähnlicher Art wesentlich durch einen mit dem Abschlufsschieber derart in Verbindung stehenden Rufskastendeckel kennzeichnet, dafs letzterer beim Herausschieben des Schiebers, selbstthätig mit demselben gekuppelt, den Kasten öffnet und der im Schornstein angesammelte Rufs durch den Trichter in den Kasten fallen kann, während der Deckel beim Hineinschieben des Schiebers, bei welchem Vorgang der gegebenenfalls noch übrige, im Schornstein bezw. Ist nun der Schieber c nebst Kastendeckel q aus der Mittelstellung (Fig. 2 und 5) in die vollständige Offenlage gebracht worden und der Rufskasten e vollständig mit Rufs angefüllt, so wird Schieber c mit Deckel q wieder in die Verschlufsstellung (Fig. 1) gebracht.
