Vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt eine weitere Ausführungsform der Plättmaschine, welche den Gegenstand des D. R. P. 119475 bildet. Bei letzterer besitzt die heizbare Mulde Riffeln, welche mit der Mulde selbst ein Stück bildeten. Es ergab sich daraus der Nachtheil, dafs die Mulde und daher die ganze Maschine nur zum Glänzen, nicht aber zum Plätten benutzt werden konnte: Nach vorliegender Erfindung ist die geriffelte Fläche auswechselbar angeordnet, indem die Mulde M, wie aus der Zeichnung (senkrechter Schnitt) hervorgeht, selbst glatt polirt ist und in dieselbe ein Blech a, welches mit Riffeln b ausgestattet ist, eingelegt wird.
