The invention relates to a case for a portable typewriter, which consists of one on the Typewriter attached and with the walls of the case from one piece base and consists of a removable lid detachable with a pair of opposing walls of the suitcase is connected.

In the known cases of this type, the handle is usually attached to the lid, the machine can be damaged very easily if the lid accidentally moves while being carried solves.

This disadvantage is avoided in the case according to the invention in that a handle is permanently connected to another of these walls.

The case consists of a lower part, generally designated 3, and a removable cover 4. The lower part 3 has a base 6, two side walls 7 and 8, a rear wall 9 and a front edge 11 . The machine is carried by a frame 12 (FIG. 2) which is fastened on a rigid plate 13 which in turn is fastened on corresponding elevations 14 of the floor 6. The lower part 3 with the walls 7, 8, 9 and 11 thus forms part of the machine casing.

On the side walls 7 and 8, two lateral projections 16 with two holes are provided, in each of which a projection 17 of a second part 18 of the casing engages, which forms the usual upper cover of the machine casing. At the front, the part 18 is pressed against a projection 19 of the edge 11.

On the right side wall 7 (Fig. 1), a handle 21 is also attached, while 8 feet 22 are provided on the left side wall for parking.

In the front edge 11 and in the bottom 6 of the lower part 3 there is an opening 23 (FIG. 2), into which a paper cassette 24 is normally inserted, which can be pulled out towards the front. On the side walls of the cassette 24 are cases for a portable typewriter

Patent claims: 1.
