Beim Entwickeln und Fixiren von sehr langen belichteten photographischen Bildbändern, wie sie beispielsweise von continuirlich arbeitenden Belichtungsmaschinen geliefert werden, in einer Aufeinanderfolge von Gefäfsen, durch die die Bildbänder hindurchgeführt werden, stellt sich insbesondere die Schwierigkeit ein, dafs die betreffenden Flüssigkeiten mit dem Fortschreiten der Entwickelung bezw. des Fixirens in ihrer Wirksamkeit allmählich erschöpft werden, so dafs entweder eine stetige Verlangsamung der chemischen Processe eintritt oder dafs man gezwungen ist, die Flüssigkeiten unter beständiger Controle der chemischen Processe andauernd zu erneuern oder zu ergänzen. Aufserdem aber wird durch die beim Entwickeln u. s. w. in Gefäfsen unbedingt erforderliche Führung des Bildbandes an der leicht verletzlichen Schichtseite, wie dies z.
