Schutzvorrichtungen dieser Art werden bekanntlich unterhalb der Plattform des Wagens angebracht. Der Schutzkorb b ist ebenfalls unterhalb des Wagens in den Lagern d schwingbar gelagert und wird durch die soeben erwähnten Hebel f bei deren Untergreifen unter die Haken e hochgehalten, während die an dem zweiten Hebel h des Schutzkorbes angreifende Feder i gespannt wird. Auf der Welle k des Schutzkorbes ist ein Hebel / befestigt, mit welchem durch ein Gestänge ρ der Schalthebel der Schaltvorrichtung c gelenkig verbunden ist.Protective devices of this type are known to be attached below the platform of the car. Die letztere besteht hier beispielsweis aus einem gelenkig verbundenen Hebelpaar m, dessen freie Enden einerseits an dem Schutzkorb b und andererseits am Gestell des Wagens drehbar befestigt sind. Das Feststellen des Schutzkorbes durch, dieses Hebelpaar geschieht dadurch, dafs in ihrem gemeinsamen Gelenk η Nasen angebracht sind, welche ein weiteres Zurückgehen, als es in der punktirten Stellung dargestellt ist, verhindern. Wie erwähnt, wird zugleich mit der Auslösung des Schutzkorbes durch letzteren die Umschaltvorrichtung umgelegt.
