Die vorliegende Einrichtung bezweckt eine gründliche und möglichst schnelle Reinigung von faserigen Filtermassen, die in Kuchen- oder Plattenform in Filtern für Brauereizwecke und dergl. Verwendung finden. Gegenüber den gleichen Zwecken dienenden, im Wesentlichen aus einem Prefstuch und einer Prefswalze bestehenden bekannten Einrichtungen zeichnet sich die vorliegende dadurch aus, dafs die Fasermasse wiederholt durchgearbeitet wird, was hier durch die eigenthümliche Führung des um Prefswalzen gehenden Prefstuches erreicht wird.
