Die nach dem Umschlingen von Kabeln, Seilen od. dgl. mit diesem Klemmband vorstehende Schlaufe ist unerwünscht, kann aber keinesfalls abgeschnitten werden, da anderenfalls das Klemmband sich lösen würde. Außerdem treten bei diesem bekannten Klemmband beim Zusammenschnüren von Kabeln folgende Schwierigkeiten auf: Wird beim Festschnüren der Kabel das Bandende durch die Öse gezogen, so drücken die umschnürten Kabel das Klemmband radial nach außen, so daß demgemäß beim festen Umschnüren das Bandende nach außen, also gegen die äußere Kante der Öse gedrückt wird, also die Vorsprünge gar nicht an der Innenkante der Öse einrasten können.
